Folks, with Harry Reid calling the Bunkerville patriots "Domestic Terrorists" who are endangering children by putting them "out front", and with April 19th approaching I thought I would open this thread.
With Jim's permission I ask all Nevada Freepers (potentially SoCal too) to report gathering Federales and unusual Military movements in the area. Keep a particular eye around Nellis AFB and especially Creech AFB (Predator Drones).

That is a totally legitimate question. Many should be able to be identified at the BLM corral from the high res pics circulating on the web.
Based on the diversity of "uniforms" (They look fabulous, simply fabulous) it looks like the BLM STASI wolf pack was assembled from a number of sources. Again, those who interact with some of these folks on a local basis should be able to ID their locals who showed up at the Vegas BLM Party.
The Helicopter Cowboys I think are from Utah and likely involved with other BLM actions, like the round up of wild horses.
My biggest question is: Did the BLM hire some mercenaries or did all of their troops belong to a government force?

I don't think the BLM had any Clark County Deputies in their ranks, though the LVPD SWAT Team showed up on the Big Day (it coulda been part of the response to I-15 being shut down).

Scanner buffs as well. I started out as a Radio Tech and have worked on many a transceiver over the years. Planning on breaking out an old Bearcat Uniden unit and start monitoring HP, AIR, and BUSN (Buisiness low VHF used by Government and Tactical units) to name a few and see if any relayed comms come up. If I can find a scanner antenna and cable I’ll see about getting something small up and running in a day or so.
There is already some stuff kicking around on line about some Special Agent in Charge . . .Something P Love . . . A green beret that was on the Stassi side.

You might want to check the scanner listings for your area (found via google) to see if local, county, and state authorities are still on vhf or if they too have gone digital trunking.
I have a scanner that is supposed to be able to follow trunking, but haven’t tried that feature out.
