While many have condemned the strong-arming and pseudo-military tactics of the Bureau of Labor Management in its standoff with Cliven Bundy, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat, reserved his criticism for the Bundy family and their many supporters — which he labelled domestic terrorists.
Reid’s comments came during a live interview with Steve Sebelius, a columnist for the Las Vegas Review Journal. Reporter Jon Ralston, who attended the event, tweeted Reid’s statements regarding the dispute between Bundy and the BLM:

Reid was referring to the hundreds of supporters of Bundy, who came to his Nevada cattle ranch to protest his treatment at the hands of the federal government, which was intent on regulating and taxing the ranch out of existence. BLM agents descended upon the ranch to remove hundreds of cattle that they claimed were endangering a tortoise habitat.
Agents came with military style equipment, according to the Bundy family, and tasered several protesters on a road leading to the ranch after the stepped out side the designated “free speech zone.” (RELATED: Victory for Cliven Bundy, Nevada rancher who challenged feds)
Reid called those who would stand against these tactics “domestic terrorists.”
“These people who hold themselves out to be patriots are not. They are domestic terrorists.” @SenatorReid clearly prepared that line.

The purpose of Reid’s statement is not only to demonize his opposition, but to prepare the groundwork for executive orders and the internment of dissidents, perhaps at Gitmo.
As long as we have the US govt terrorists we will need some domestic terrorists. :-)

It’s interesting that you mention Bill Ayres. In his Weather Underground manifesto one of the planks of his platform is to liquidate 25 - 30 million American People who can’t be re-educated.
I think backhoes, dump trucks and mass graves for cows is the start of a progression, humans will be next. If good people everywhere do not stand up and oppose tyranny this is what history tells us.

The founders lost lands, lives and family. today, you can’t get a percentage of the right to agree with long held truth much less get them to make the most minimal of sacrifices...such as their $100 monthly liberal support check to the dish/cable company.
You are right. There is no time to be had. But IMO, the more pressing issue is the division we face from within. We cannot win a two front war when we cannot trust that a portion of our own people will ever stop supporting the enemy with cash, obstruction and even outright votes.

Well, I wonder...could this have been another situation whereas a solar company or project gets set up, a lot of money gets paid into it only to go quickly into bankruptcy and executives walk away with millions? Thinking, thinking....where have I seen this before /s.
