America conquered Nazism and Communism with better music.

One flavor of Russian music...

I wouldn’t argue that oil brings the most profit for the Russian government,
.....................
Well, my only point was that the best way to throttle russian adventurism is to collapse the price of oil. Because the Russians like the Mexicans fund their government with the money they rake off the business. The russian government takes such a big bite out of oil revenues that they have to depend on outside financing to pay for the enormous upfront capital costs of the oil exploration.

A website like FR that critics Putin like we critic Obama will quickly be banned, like many other websites that were banned two weeks ago for criticism of regime.

I'm not going to turn this into a Religious Forum-type argument with you. Nor am I going to let you dictate the terms of my argument.

If you choose not to see it when it happens, then don't whine that someone else sees it when it happens.

And as an aside, if you have no worry about Russian propaganda* being posted here (or choose not to see it), why worry about MSNBC at all? You think those bozos haven't made their minds up already?

_____
*propaganda, here, is defined as something that is demonstrably false--so don't go flying off on another tangent.

Let the record show Rude does not believe that we are communists/sympathisers enough to report us even to the site owner much less the government. Thats what all his tough talk about communists is worth. Nothing.

As such, when you read his ongoing rants on future threads, refer to this one for an example of how he calls people hypocrites and refuses to prove it when challenged. Note how he ducks this patriotic duty because after calling us all sorts of communist, he really does not believe we are.

Take his actual words and actions into consideration when dealing with him. As for me, my work here is done. He is what he is. A waste of further time.

You get the last word Rude. Make it count.

It’s interesting how that works. Liberals calling for the arrest of people, liberals calling for the death of people, Liberals calling for all sorts of things. One would think that our efforts should be put to use ensuring we don’t end up burning in the camps...

But alas, one would be wrong. I never realized how wrong until I read all the Russia threads. Now I know I need to ignore all that liberal stuff because the REAL threat is 8000 miles away. Oh sure, it has nothing to do with us except for liberals demanding intervention and oh yea...helping to get the ball rolling to begin with. But never mind all that. We gotta post unsupportable nonsense on web forums to prove our patriotism or we are dirty commies.

Tthat’s what I learned. And I just got my wall size poster of Dreamboat Vlad on his noble Stallion too. That was $200 shot right to hell...

Russia is not part of european civilisation. It is a continuation of Byzantine civilization, related but distinct

Perhaps what we will see, as an outcome of the current crisis, is a return of that Eastern Empire.
