Harry Reid DOUBLES DOWN,..calls supporters “domestic violent terrorist wannabes”
The Right Scoop ^ | 4/18/2014 | Unattributed

Posted on 04/18/2014 3:40:44 PM PDT by Mariner

Earlier today Harry Reid was asked to explain why he called the supporters of Cliven Bundy domestic terrorists. He said the following:

Bundy doesn’t believe that the American government is valid, he believes that the United States is a foreign government.

He doesn’t pay his taxes. He doesn’t follow the law. He doesn’t pay his fees.

And if anyone thinks by any figment of their imagination what happened up there last week was just people rallying to somebody that was oppressed — 600 people came in, armed. They had practiced, they had maneuvered, they knew what they were doing. They set up snipers in strategic locations with sniper rifles. They had assault weapons. They had automatic weapons. And they boasted about the fact that they put women in children — in fact one retired sheriff from Arizona boasted that he put women and children so that they would get hit first.

As I understand it Bundy hasn’t paid the fees.

In order to pay the grazing fees to the BLM, he has to sign a contract with the BLM, signing all his rights away.

THAT'S why he's not paying, because he can't, because there's no contract.

"That's some catch, that Catch-22," said Yossarian.

Why Clive Bundy isn’t WRONG regarding grazing fees
http://beforeitsnews.com/alternative/2014/04/why-clive-bundy-isnt-wrong-regarding-grazing-2938622.html

There have been a lot of people criticizing Clive Bundy because he did not pay his grazing fees for 20 years. The public is also probably wondering why so many other cowboys are supporting Mr. Bundy even though they paid their fees and Clive did not.

What you people probably do not realize is that on every rancher’s grazing permit it says the following: “You are authorized to make grazing use of the lands, under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Land Management and covered by this grazing permit, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this grazing permit and payment of grazing fees when due.”

The “mandatory” terms and conditions go on to list the allotment, the number and kind of livestock to be grazed, when the permit begins and ends, the number of active or suspended AUMs (animal units per month), etc.

The terms and conditions also list specific requirements such as where salt or mineral supplements can be located, maximum allowable use of forage levels (40% of annual growth), etc., and include a lot more stringent policies that must be adhered to. Every rancher must sign this “contract” agreeing to abide by the TERMS AND CONDITIONS before he or she can make payment.

Gee Harry, you were there and he told you that? Ok.
Retire already, you are THE reason we need term limits.

That's because yesterday they moved the page and renamed it "Bundy Standoff" instead of "Bundy Ranch Standoff." They wouldn't want the simple plebes to think Bundy actually owns his ranch.

If you go to the redirected page on Wikipedia and click on the View History tab, you can see that they have locked the page down to only administrators until April 28. They have removed anything on the page that mentions the BLM brutality, the BLM K9 handler command for the dog to attack Ammon Bundy, calling it "vandalism." The page is focused strictly on the Fed court cases that Bundy lost and even goes into ancient history about Mormon pluralism. No mention of Harry Reid involvement.

Ministry of Agitprop at work.

I found the site quite annoyingly biased towards the fedgov positions, and where the facts should have been presented for others to judge on their basis, they kept throwing in judgmental additions and comments that took away the vast majority of credibility the page might otherwise have had.

Statements such as "After the roundup was suspended due to safety-of-the-public concerns" and "After the BLM left the area for safety concerns" instead of simply "After the roundup" and "After the BLM left" merely serves to notify anyone paying attention that whoever is contributing to the page is in all probability biased towards the governmental actions carried out to date and quite probably in the future, so all should be warned that this is not a place to obtain accurate information in this matter.

Indeed, one would suspect that if anything further would happen to occur in the future to the detriment of the Bundy ranch the pages would be similarly biased against them and heavily scrubbed to keep any information likely to paint the government in a bad light to be heavily censored to keep any involved agencies and officials from being portrayed as in any way other than glowing. Looking for helpful information about this incident for normal people not involved or biased towards totalitarian actions is not likely to be found here.

You raise a great point. There should be an investigation into how Dingy Harry knows anything one way or the other about Bundy’s taxes

I would like to see/read the entire "Contract". All the "Terms and conditions".

The BLM website lacks many details.

Another thing, are these permits/contracts/T&C the same for every Rancher ?

In every case ?

How much discretion is then given to the BLM by agreeing to the terms ?

Probably not. It would be the same ruling as when Murtha (spit) slandered the Marines and proclaimed their guilt before the trials.

Our "betters" can say and do as they please.

I believe, I think I recall, one of the writers or producers saying the senator in one of the Godfather movies was based on Dingy Harry.

“put women and children so that they would get hit first.”

It was the sheriff that made the claim he was told this, he didn’t say he made that statement or directed that alleged action.

Most importantly, that claim was vehemently denied by a documentary film producer that was on the front lines, out front filming.
