The White House counsels office and Democratic National Committee produced the report, which explains how Republican staffers surf the Internet, and describes it as one of the major and most dynamic modes of communication. The Internet can link people, groups and organizations together instantly, the report reads. Moreover, it allows an extraordinary amount of unregulated data and information to be located in one area and available to all. The right wing has seized upon the internet as a means of communicating its ideas to people. Moreover, evidence exists that Republican staffers surf the internet, interacting with extremists in order to exchange ideas and information. That wording sounds like it could have come directly from a Stasi report, where Commie apparatchiks and informants are explaining to their superiors how the enemy operates. Did the Commies directly train the Democrats, or do they all just naturally talk that way?
Is there any meaningful difference between the Communists of East Germany or the Soviet Union and the Democrat leadership? Not that I can tell...

I think they are looking at us. There’s probably spy’s all this place. So they own the mainstream media but they don’t own conservative websites yet.

First time Ive ever heard Media Matters, ThinkProgress, Huffy Poast, MSDNC ad nauseam described as right wing tools.
They were part of the response organized by the Left to counteract the "threat" described in this paranoid document.
Which means that rather than being designed as tools of information sharing, those site above were instead designed as tools of information (and political) dominance.

This will come as a big surprise to tens of thousands of dirty, small-minded petty tyrants writing comments from their parents’ basement on DemocRat Underground.

In 1995 the internet was truly an alternate, uncontrolled media. It took almost 10 years to change that.
It’s affect on the 2000 election was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
