EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton called on Israel to reverse recent announcements regarding construction in Judea and Samaria in order to advance peace talks.
Ashton said she viewed with “great concern” an Israeli decision to declare an area near the Gush Etzion Bloc south of Jerusalem as state land and the recognition of Jewish rights to the disputed Peace House in the Judean city of Hevron, a statement from her office said Friday.
Ashton also lashed out at the “demolition of Palestinian property and the confiscation of EU humanitarian aid”. …

The EU is a joke - a four-star cluster f***, and they want to render unto Israel the same status?
Israel would be well-advised to tell them to take a hike.
These days, every goofball, utterly screwed up administration on Planet Earth (including Obama/Kerry) seems to feel they have the right to tell Israel what to do and how to do it.
The EU is worse than the UN because it regulates imports and exports...and can crush a country.
The EU’s problem is that its not even-handed so it has no real influence. And most Israeli Jews simply do not care about a “peace process” that is headed for nowhere.
If the EU would leave things well enough alone - the parties involved can manage the conflict. But there will never be peace.

The EU is instigating. They have some vested interest in the Holy Land after all.
