Bill Maher

We ended slavery, we didn’t start it, we never practiced genocide, abortion is global.
Do you know how many millions the Russians have murdered and enslaved?
Uh, how about both? Surely in the aggregate we are capable of multitasking.
What’s in it for a country to side with the US these days?
Getting lectured on how “global warming” is the greatest threat to mankind.
Being forced to accept sodomy as normal and healthy.
Making sure that Muslims are not discriminated against.
I think not. We strike people dead with drones - including our own citizens - for any reason that we (in secret) decide makes them a terrorist. That is just the tip of the iceberg. Plus we’re led by a gay muslim who was born overseas...
Maher always takes the easiest liberal viewpoint that feeds his oversized ego. Hate America first, and attack Christians. He is the ultimate spoiled, self-centered, ungrateful brat in a grownup’s body—with a big nose.
Bill Maher may have swerved into s powerful insight here, but not for the reasons he would deem relevant. The territory now under the governance of the Current Regime, that was once known as “the United States of America”, clearly lacks much of anything that could be called “moral authority”.
They write laws that do not address the problems they claim to, they ignore existing law, and they even selectively enforce the laws they write themselves. The Current Occupant now squatting in the White Hut makes brave announcements that this red line is not to be crossed, then like disappearing ink, miraculously, the red line just disappears, and not much of anything is changed, except there is now an excuse to call for a NEW red line to be exercised yet again.
And will be ignored gain.
Even a blind pig (or Bill Maher) finds an acorn occasionally!
We not only practiced genocide, we made a president of of of its foremost practitioners. You might have a picture of him in your wallet right now.
Quick. Someone remind me of this BM’s bona fides to opine about anything. Graduating Klown Kollege does not count.
No, the United States has never practiced genocide, and that is a pretty insane thing to think.
Tell it to the Indians.
Lord knows there are plenty of them since the United States government never created a genocide to exterminate them.
That's not entirely true. Russia isn't some Middle East backwater where we'd send a carrier strikegroup and a handful of troops to do the fighting while the rest of America sits home and watches football on TV. We decide to engage in a war with Russia and everyone's going to be involved --whether they want to or not.
By “involved” I mean in uniform and I stand by my statement.
The historical record is undeniable. You’re entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts.
Exactly, the historical record is that there has never been a genocidal policy by the United States toward any group.
Very few Indians were ever killed by the government in combat, very few.
I’m sure we can take comfort in reflecting that the Jews who died in boxcars on their way to the death camps aren’t victims of genocide, since they only died from forced relocation under cruel conditions, and not direct killing.
Genocide is committed also by systematic destruction of a culture. Read up on the Indian Removal Act, which was federal law. Cowboys and Indians is a kid’s game. Grow up.
Well, troll, you don’t seem able to find this policy of extermination of the Indian by the United States, and bringing up death camps and Jews and Nazis doesn’t cut it.
If we had a policy of genocide and were trying to eliminate the race, what mass murder methods were we using, and why would we be giving them their own reservations, and when did we change the genocide policy?
