The Russian Foreign Minister says the US should take responsibility for those whom they put in power instead issuing ultimatums to Moscow.
"Before giving us ultimatums, demanding that we fulfill demands within two or three days with the threat of sanctions, we would urgently call on our American partners to fully accept responsibility for those who they brought to power, said Lavrov during a press conference with his colleague from Mozambique, Oldemiro Baloi.
All attempts to isolate Russia will lead to a dead end because Russia is "a big, independent power that knows what it wants," he added
(snip) Meanwhile, Lavrov also said that the Kiev coup-appointed government has violated the Geneva agreements of April 17, after the four-sided talks between the EU, the US, Russia and Ukraine.
The Pravy Sektor (Right Sector) group has been running the show in the streets of central and western Ukraine and is trying to affect eastern regions, he said, adding that buildings in Kiev seized by the protesters havent been freed and the streets havent been cleared.

I always thought it’d be fun to write satire like this type of propaganda.
Any comment on the actual contents of the article?
Indeed...
Propaganda. Do you deny that the US was instrumental in igniting the protests at Maidan?
It's Russian propaganda.
The US has been stirring things up in Egypt, Libya, Syria and now Ukraine (and who knows where else). We seem to like helping people overthrow their legitimate (even if not the greatest) governments, and then we abandon them and leave them twisting in the wind. Obama’s like a wrecking ball.
The protests were “ignited” when that Russian stooge accepted Putin’s offer.
To repeat dan’s question, Do you deny that the US was instrumental in igniting the protests at Maidan?
The “Russian stooge(TM)” was an elected president, dumbboy, the clowns in Kiev now have no such legitimacy.
Most normal people do, since there is no evidence that the US was instrumental in igniting the protests, or that it was anyone other than the SBU agents photographed gearing up with sniper rifles who did the shootings against protestors that led to it picking up. Also, brand new on me, still checking it out. Apparently, the Ukrainian intelligence organization is also openly stating now that Yanukovich did not flee the country after all. They think he was kidnapped by Russian GRU, the same who recommended using violence against the protestors.
Actually they do, dumbboy, since the interim government is just the Ukrainian rada, which is democratically elected.
RT has indeed been openly discredited as a propaganda outlet for the Kremlin (though it was known before hand, at least by people who cared to wonder, that it was indeed Kremlin controlled, as is a lot of media in Russia). FR shouldn't even tolerate its posting.

The protests were “ignited” when the Ukrainian government balked at signing the Association Agreement.
The participants in that call have denied asserting that it was anyone from the Maidan. Furthermore, that call took place before any actual investigation had been done on the matter, and is therefore an impossible conclusion. All the evidence, photographs of armed members of the SBU’s elite unit leaving their compound shortly before the firings began, documents, etc., lead no doubt that it was indeed the Russian trained SBU behind the shootings.
Yay, Russian state propaganda direct from RT.
Sad to see so many Putinista’s still hanging around here. The ones I’ve run into tend to be mostly Ron Paul nutters who think this is all about fiat currency, the gold standard, neo-cons (aka Jews), etc.
An elected president who looted his treasury, tried to rewrite his constitution, and fired upon his own citizens.
Bill Clinton?
