Bloomberg’s New Gun-Grabber Group Wants to Invade Gun Owners’ Homes
PJ Tatler ^ | April 21, 2014 | Bryan Preston

Driving on our roads is a privilege regulated at the state level through licensing.

Gun ownership is a civil right guaranteed in the Constitution.

Those facts in mind, let’s have a look at another of Everytown’s propaganda graphics.

That graphic implies quite a lot. If Bloomberg were to get his way, police or some other government agency would be mandated to step into gun owners’ homes at regular intervals to keep tabs on the firearms and the people in those homes.

We are already seeing a disturbing, even frightening, militarization of local police. Federal agencies that have no real police power now have heavily armed SWAT-style units.

Bloomberg would add to all of that, having police inspect every firearm owner’s home.

That’s literally a police state.

> IF CARS WERE AS REGULATED AS GUNS

- The car you drive could be outlawed if enough other people who owned one like it caused DUI or hit-and-run fatalities
- Outlawed cars would be subject to confiscation whether used in a fatal accident or not
- California would seriously discuss a separate registration process for buying gasoline
- You would have to extensively research automobile registration laws for every state you ever wanted to visit if you didn’t want to end up in jail and your car confiscated
- You would forfeit your right to own or buy a car if you were convicted of a crime that involved the use of your car
- Anti-automobile zealots might publish your name and address and type of car in the newspaper for no good reason whatsoever

I like the way you think...lol

Here’s a little idea that ought to scare the bejeezus out of anyone with a brain, and as time passes, there does seem to be less and less of the material available for use, especially where Justices are concerned.

One could argue that the first amendment right to freedom of association implicitly gives you the right to travel. One could further argue that, since freedom of the press is not limited to hand-operated, vertical letter presses and now includes broadcast and Internet media, ones right to travel includes cars. These arguments are certainly more firmly based than a right to an abortion.

Hey Bloomberg!

I refuse!

How many “excuses” of front doors looking like Swiss Cheese, are you going to have pre-planned ‘press releases’ ready for when all of us stand and deliver?

Prior to WWII Belgaum required all guns and rifles to be registered at the local police station. In 1940 when the Germans invaded Belgaum SS units visited every police station and picked up gun registration lists and went house to house collecting the guns.
had the population been able to retain their weapons there may have been greater resistance.

Oh, the irony lost on these fools.
That is exactly why there is a Second Amendment.
You invade my home and you get two taps center mass.
Bloomie is a moron, so dumb he believes God can't wait for his arrival in heaven so Bloomturd can straighten the place out.

Bloomberg’s idea, if implemented here in Wisconsin would have “grave” repercussions. (Sorry, could think of a better word, its early).

I would recommend he do so in a random zig-zag pattern.

Wita, I am thinking that Stevens speaking out on the 2nd Amendment recently, is all part of a coordinated effort with Bloomberg to advance the agenda against gun rights.

Bloomberg is a dangerous man, and is fast becoming a Mini-me clone of Soros.

The "Every Town for gun safety" regarding automobiles is a lie. If I don't take the vehicle on a county/state/federal road I don't need a tag, nor a license, nor insurance, etc.

Bloomberg is a blooming idiot.

Bloomberg Needs to be reminded that one of those is not like the other:

A God given and Constitutionally affirmed civil right.

I am hoping the State of CO is the next glaring example of why you don’t align with the bloomies on anything unconstitutional. Another Republican Governorship would go a long way toward convincing the ignorant of their ignorance.

Bloomberg has the ability to snoop and peek in all the stock trading computers that his company leases to stock traders. He was already caught, he is probably just snooping better now.
