Until the political right has a come to Jesus encounter with reality, yes. Yes we are.

Some time ago I gave up on the idea this can be fixed even marginally. It is really simple. To fix it, we have to stop repeating the mistakes that caused it. People do not wish to do that if there is a chance they may not ‘win’. So they don’t really want to fix anything. Not most of them. They want what they have just as it is, because otherwise they would change it.

Ergo, Yes, we are screwed.

No question about that. More conservative the president, the better!

I am only comparing whom Hillary will nominate versus any republican president will appoint. I will bet anybody my bottom dollar that every one of Hillary’s nomination to SCOTUS will be a litmus test proven pro-abortion person.

With a republican president at least there is a chance it will not be so.

I’m just not buying the fear the Supreme Court judge argument anymore. We’ve already lost with the judiciary. Mygosh, look what judges are doing state-by-state, legalizing gay marriage when the states vote against it. With abortion, I do hope the justices stand for life, but if not, it’s people’s hearts and souls that must change.

Sorry, Hillary is totally unacceptable to me. I will settle for any republican who runs in 2016. I do not want more pro-abortion judges all over the country.

I agree with you about another Bush. We both will work to defeat him in primaries should he run. However I will never accept Hillary as a replacement for Bush.

I will settle for and republican who runs in 2016.

You will not win. Consider that conservatives were not happy with the nominations of either McCain and Romney, and many wouldn't vote for them. With all that's happened since then, constitutional conservatives are even less likely to call a backstabber "the lesser of two evils". If you want to win with a Republican, it's time we all got together and chose a US-first constitutional conservative with a proven voting record and a demonstration of good instincts in fast moving events. Acknowledge that the likes of Jeb, Christie and Ryan are unacceptable.

Otherwise, you might as well leave "President" blank on election day. A backstabber will not win.

Yes, many republicans will not vote for a RINO.

Then think of this...you will not see “DINO” stated on any liberal web sites. That tells me democrats do not eat their own. But republicans are like a little kid who throws a tantrum, picks up his toys and runs home.

Don’t you think it’s about time that the ptb give up on their globalist/elitist candidates? A decent candidate with a constitutional conservative vision would very likely have won, where McCain and Romney failed. And the last globalist success story, Bush 2, got the ball rolling on most of the programs that are out of control with Obama.

Where did you get the idea I like big spenders like Bush-43?
You are correct, he started the ball rolling and Obama just gave it a mighty push on spending.

But Bush managed to get elected twice and appointed many many good judges all over the country.

My main point is if it comes to choosing between Hillary and Jeb, I will hold my nose and vote for the moderate. Again, Hillary is totally unacceptable to me, no holds barred.

Finally, I would jump with joy if Ted Cruz wins the White House. I think we are unanimous on that. Our only contention is choosing between Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton. No way in hell will I help Hillary by staying home.
