It's no secret that most Hollywood celebrities are enthusiastic supporters of President Obama and his liberal policies, but on Fox's Cashin' In on Saturday, 1970s M*A*S*H star Wayne ("Trapper John") Rogers, now a successful businessman and investor, tore into the news media for shielding the President.

I could be wrong, but I believe he was doing the investing long before he became an actor. I understand he was a pretty outspoken conservative even during his time on Television.
MASH sucked after he left. They put that @$$#@+ Mike Farrell on in his place.
Always thought Trapper John was a lot better than that Liberal BJ Hunnicutt (Mike Farrell)on MASH.
Agreed. It went full libtard.
I can’t believe you wasted capital letters on mf’s name. :>}
It became truly craptacular when Alan (”the crybaby”) Alda started directing it.
I actually think there are more conservatives and moderates than anybody realizes; but they have to say certain things in order to keep getting work, getting invited to the right parties etc.
Mike farrell was way too left wing even for liberal alan alda. One day alda was doing an interview for tv guide on the set of mash when farrell happened to walk by. Alda called out to him, “hey, I hear you’re running for the politburo!”
“Tonight, a VERY special episode....”
About the time Alda became more involved in the production and the show became insufferably preachy.
I thought that Wayne was B-HO supporter in 2008. Guess my memory is failing...
Jamie Farr (Klinger) wrote about his feelings, some quotes exist on IMDB. Also, Larry Linville (Frank Burns) admitted he quit the show when his contract expired because “it got too preachy.”
I’ve watched Wayne on Cashin’ In for quite a while now, and judging by the whole of his appearances, is still quite liberal.
I have a hard time keepin’ up sometimes. There was plenty of “white guilt” during the first mistake causing otherwise “smart” people to vote for the first halfricanAmerican resident in cheat. Sadly, not enough people were able to see right through the lyin’ king and voted for him so they could be part of the “historic event”. Lucky for me I won’t have to tell the grandkids I had any part of electing the “won” either time. (Did he really get elected twice??????) :>{
Loved him in MASH and I enjoy him on that Fox business panel show (I don’t know names sorry folks).
He has always shown the common sense of the average American
Did he 'leave' or was he forced out because of his views ?
Yep, it became the “Alan Alda Show” after Trapper left.
