GOP Senate Candidate: I Think I Know More About Women Than My Democratic Male Opponent

Former Michigan Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land is running for the U.S. Senate as a Republican and shockingly, her Democratic opponent Rep. Gary Peters is accusing her of waging a war on women (Democrats are being really original with their attack strategy this year). Now, Land is taking on the issue directly with her first campaign ad openly mocking Peters for accusing her, a woman, of waging a war on women.

"I'm Terri Lynn Land and I approve this message because as a woman, I might know a little bit more about women than Gary Peters."

The ad is actually really good. Instead of being defensive about why she doesn't hate women, Land simply allows Peters' ridiculous accusations stand and fall all on their own, putting her immediately back on offense while quickly addressing the issue.

Recent polling shows Lynn slightly leading Peters and she's also been beating him in the fundraising department.

Lefties always try to claim that people like Condi Rice, Clarence Thomas, etc. are not REALLY black because they are conservatives. I am waiting for someone to start claiming that Land is not REALLY a woman for the same reason.

I'm glad to see Terri Land taking on this argument this way. The strategy of democrats is to silence all opposition be declaring that no one has a right to speak on any issue without their approval. Land refuses to play that game.

Peters is stepping into it right and left. But you won’t hear about it in the DBM.

Previously, he accused a cancer patient of lying when she claimed that under Obamacare she lost her doctor and can no longer afford her prescribed medication.

This patient had participated in an ad opposing Peters and Peter tried to strongarm media outlets to stop running the ad.

Peters has become a clown. He’s going to lose spectacularly.

These bogus accusations and phony issues should just be thrown back in the faces of the democrats for what they are,the same old tired distractions Democrats foist upon the ignorant masses. The Democrat party has reigned more destruction upon this country than Germany,Japan And Russia.
They create poverty, classes of people living off of others, divisions wherever they can ,old against young, black against white, rich against poor, healthy against the sick, gay afaist straight,it is pathetic.

The democrats are really very concerned about losing Michigan. Even Obama has spoken out against Terri Land.

I gotta say, during our Fraternity days, I don’t recall Gary knowing a whole heck-of-a-lot about women.

President Barack Obama takes jab at Terri Lynn Land over equal pay

Land took the fight right back to Obama by pointing out that Jay Carney's wife said in the recent interview that she chose to balance family and career.

“Democrats are being really original with their attack strategy this year...”

Their response on most issues is a one trick pony. I was arguing homosexual marriage with a 19 year old progressive last month. I gave her my background on the issue: Following the aids epidemic when it was called GRID, reading the homosexual magazines in Seattle in the early 80’s and on, having several acquaintences who are homosexual, and on and on. Basically laying down a background that is deep and longer than she’s been alive.

Her response? I’m ignorant.

I called her on it.

Bottom line: Not only is the progressive MO to ad-hominem attack, but those attacks are mostly projection.

Well, probably not.

Thinking back, in 1978 a large number of college “men” were pretty cluless about women. Add the Fraternity culture and, well, we were clueless that we were clueless about women.

Well, a few of us frat-boys properly “matured” (AKA: Became political conservatives) while others indulged their arrested development and followed the Dhimmicrat party.

Unfotunately in those days, Alma College was flooded with “progressive” ideology in the form of femi-nazis. Many of us “went along to get along” (or “went along to get...some”).
