Conservatives are increasingly — and not so quietly — showing the early signs of a speakership revolt. But short of a sudden groundswell of opposition from the GOP rank-and-file, or a magic wand, Speaker John A. Boehner is the one who controls his fate.
Just don’t tell that to the Ohio Republican’s foes.
“I think pretty well everybody’s figured Mr. Boehner’s going to be gone, and the question is Cantor and McCarthy,” said Tim Huelskamp, R-Kan. “But most conservatives are saying it’s not just at the top; it’s all the way through.”
Huelskamp, who was more than an active player in the last Boehner coup, told CQ Roll Call there are “a lot of meetings going on” about who could be speaker in the 114th Congress, and if Boehner should decide to say, conservatives are discussing how to remove him.
“I think there’s efforts underway to do that,” Huelskamp said.
It’s common congressional knowledge that Huelskamp and Boehner aren’t the best of friends. Boehner stripped Huelskamp of his seat on Financial Services for the 113th. And Huelskamp had a whip list the last time conservatives tried to usurp the speakership. Recently asked about his relationship with Boehner, Huelskamp summed it up this way: “I don’t smoke and I don’t suntan.”
The plan to ditch Boehner sounds similar to the GOP rebellion that ousted Newt Gingrich at the end of 1998: present the speaker with so much opposition behind closed doors that he’s forced to step aside.
But unlike Gingrich, it’s not the rank-and-file opposing Boehner, it’s not GOP leaders; Boehner’s opposition is localized to the same dissident conservatives who have been a thorn in his side for years.
Boehner spokesman Brendan Buck said his boss has “a better relationship with his members right now than at any time.”

There are three ways to remove Boehner from the Speakers chair - listed in order of preference...all are, imo, preferable to him remaining in power.
1 - Do not re-elect him to congress.
2 - Do not re-elect him as Speaker - get pledges from your candidates that they will NOT vote for Boehner.
3 - Elect a dem congress and replace Boehner with Pelosi. She is worse, but the dems will get blamed for her stupidity, not conservatives. It is time to show the wimp gop that we mean business - either oppose the dems substntively or we will freaking take you down!
The GOP is counting chickens i see.
First they must hold the House. Which i’m not sure the will do.

Last I read, Doormat Republican Boehner was “Hellbent” on ramming through the House Obama’s Amnestry Bill for Illegal Alien Invaders from Mexico.
Doormat Boehner knows that Obama can’t get this done without Boehner’s help, as the already passed Democrat Senate Amnesty Bill for Illegal Alien Invaders from Mexico will die this Session of Congress unless Boehner comes to the rescue of Democrat Feudal Lord Reid, and Democrat Tyrant Obama.
Boehner also knows that unless Obama’s Opinion Poll ratings go up, Republicans will win in a Landslide, but Boehner will have the unwanted problem of a new class of Patriotic Freshmen House members that are from the dreaded TEA Party.
Hence, Boehner must do all he can to not allow the Democrats to lose by the predicted Landslide margin of defeat in the Mid Term Election of 2014.
Obama knows that the only on-paper accomplishment for him is his convincingly failed Obamacare Socialized Health Insurance Tax, commonly known as OSHIT.
Obama needs the House to pass an Amnesty Bill to demonstrate that he is worthy of a higher poll rating.
Thus, passage of a House Amnesty Bill for the Illegal Alien Invaders from Mexico, and their offspring. will help both Boehner and Obama continue on their mutually beneficial, joint venture of “Fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”
In the four years that Doormat Boehner has protected Obama from all of the many violations of the US Constitution, the many, Many, MANY Derelictions of Duty and scandals, there has never been as loyal a permissive Speaker to a corrupt Administration than permissive, Doormat Boehner has been to the entire corrupt, tyrannical Obama Administration.
History will not be kind to Doormat Republican Boehner or his supporters in the House Republican Leadership including Cantor, McCarthy, and Ryan.
Always one to boast with a TV speech on how “sad” he is at the illegality of the rogue Obama Administration and Democrat Reid Senate, Doormat Boehner has always shied away from during the honorable thing by choosing to never enforce the US House Laws of the United States of America.
The limit to Doormat Boehner’s tolerance for obvious Federal corruption has yet to be reached.
It is small wonder then that the Republican National Committee and their donors so enthusiastically approve of the “Doormat to Democrats” tactics of Mr. Doormat himself, House Speaker Johnny “The Sobber” Boehner!
Doormat Boehner knows that Obama will reward him for the loyal protection that Boehner has constantly provided for Obama for over four very long years.
Money is NOT something needed by Multimillionaire Boehner, but perhaps Boehner would accept an Obama appointment to be the United States Ambassador to Libya?
No. They can not. We can’t even beat McConnell in a Primary. The GOPe attack on the Tea Party rages unabated. yeah, there are a few screaming voices but at this point the nominee is going to be Jeb Bush.
The GOPe are winning, and winning big.

The Tea Party is in the same situation as the pre-civil war Radical Republicans. Unfortunately gocernment borrowing and spending makes the media profits (by increasing consumer spending on their advertiser’s prducts) so anyone who wants to save the country from debt is attacked by them.
Before the Civil War the northern media could support the Republican Radicals. No advertising-supported media can support today’s.
Boehner is an embarrassment, a disgrace, a crybaby and Obama’s lefthand man in the GOP. He needs to go.

Stop CANTOR and you stop AMNESTY. It’s that simple. If Cantor can be defeated in the Primary, then no Republican will following him off the cliff on Amnesty.
