You are right....hold it in Detroit.

Make each delegate drive their own car up there and be sure to have 4 cinder blocks in the trunk so that when they steal the wheels off the car they will have something to put your car on.

Better yet, just leave the keys in the ignition.

Indy ‘unlikely’ to seek 2016 party conventions

http://www.theindychannel.com/news/local-news/indy-unlikely-to-seek-2016-party-conventions

Mayor Greg Ballard’s spokesman said Tuesday the city is “unlikely” to submit bids to host either of the conventions. Ballard spokesman Marc Lotter said both major parties reached out to the city, but the city’s tourism officials have already booked other events through much of 2016.

They're actually considering Detroit -- that seems most appropriate since it spotlights the end result of decades of liberal Democrat policies. However, it's doubtful that Detroit could come up with $65 million to attract the convention, since they can't even pay their bills. (BTW, why would anyone want to attract a bunch of deadbeat rats to their city, never mind pay millions to do so?)

It’s hilarious that Detroit is on the list.

Las Vegas???
But didn't Obama say Americans should avoid Las Vegas?
Americans must save their money to pay for ObamaCare and federal income taxes. I hope the Democrats will choose Las Vegas. It will simply highlight what hypocrites they are and that Obama is essentially pathological liar.

How about Detroit? It’s the poster-city for progressive Democrat governance, and it could use the money.

Downtown Memphis. At the end there will be fewer Democrats.

I think that they should just hold it in Washington, DC. It is where most of the delegates live anyway, Congress, Federal appointees, the union headquarters (SEIU, AFSLME, etc.), the liberal media and of course, The One.

They would save a fortune on transportation and hotel costs and be surrounded by people completely unlikely to protest any of their activities.

Perfect!

I was driving across the country. Passing through the hell hole of ESL, I was at a stop light in front of a bar. It was about 11AM. A hooker approached my car to see if I wanted to party. We had a nice little humorous chat. And then she saw my ten year old daughter in the seat next to me.

It did not take long before the hooker realized I was not down to party. It took a little bit longer for my daughter to figure out why Daddy was flirting with this toothless skinny lady.

We (my daughter and I) laugh about it today. It is her, “first time I ever saw a crack whore” story. And she got to share that moment with me. I am so proud.

Thanks East St Louis! You deserve any great moment you can get!

They are not commits any more. Dictatorial fascists—perhaps. But not commits. They don’t want the Dems there brining commie back.

“And your left with Seattle.”

I heard on the radio a month or 2 ago that the DNC was considering Seattle but the Mayor or City Council (forget which)said they didn’t want the DNC convention here. Given the Mayor is a Lib, I can only surmise it was a money issue (e.g., DNC doesn’t always pay their bills for conventions, etc.). IIRC Portland,OR was also under consideration and they said no as well.

I’m surprised San Antonio is not on the list. Being that the Wonder Boys (Castro Bros.) are from there and are media darlings.
