Should the United States deport people for entering the country illegally?
A stupid question, and one that should not have to be asked. But there it is.

I think our border fence should be like a giant bug zapper, but designed for humans.
With the proper warning signage, of course.
Bump.
Should bank robbers, shoplifters, and burglars be arrested? Or should we just be a teensy, weensy bit upset with them?
Bump!
Doh! I mean really....

Duh.
No,they should be fined, sentenced to a year in a labor camp and then deported.
I say it is important that we do not call such people “illegal aliens”, solely because the expression has been vitiated, exhausted, and no longer means what it says to many.
So instead, if they are from Mexico, call them “Mexican citizens”, because it frames the argument in much more basic terms.
“State legislature ponders giving ‘Mexican citizens’ in-state tuition and drivers licenses”, is a lot more honest than pretending they are “immigrants”.
If they moved into your back yard, pitched a tent and lit a fire in your compost heap, the question would not be if they were “squatters” on “tenants”. They are home invaders who do not belong there. Even if they don’t like their crappy home they have deserted, it is still their home.
Well duh.....
That would make the fish taste bad.

Allegedly written by Governor Jan Brewer in response to the Phoenix Suns owners opposition to Arizonas illegal immigration law.
What if the owners of the Suns discovered that hordes of people were sneaking into games without paying?
What if they had a good idea who the gate-crashers are but the ushers and security personnel were not allowed to ask these folks to produce their ticket stubs, thus non-paying attendees couldnt be ejected.
Furthermore, what if Suns ownership was expected to provide those who sneaked in with complimentary eats and drink?
And what if, on those days when a gate-crasher became ill or injured, the Suns had to provide free medical care and shelter?
Deport them as opposed to what? Have the welcome wagon come visit them?
Like that’s going to happen. I make NO EXCEPTION. Criminals!

” If someone entering the country illegally is called an immigrant, then shouldn’t a burglar be called a homeowner?”
