The city of Chicago on Thursday announced plans for construction of a $60-million selective-enrollment high school that would be named for President Obama.
The 1,200-student Barack Obama College Preparatory High School would be built in Stanton Park, blocks away from the former site of the notorious Cabrini-Green housing project, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The project was announced by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who served as the president's first chief of staff.
The White House has placed an emphasis on redesigning high school curriculum to focus more on math and science, and better preparing students for expanding career fields.

How many schools do we now have named The Barack HUSSEIN Obama ___________ School? How many do we actually need? Naming schools after the most incompetent and most corrupt, racist president this country has ever seen seems like something only a bunch of drooling, bedwetting morons would do. IMHO.

On the other hand - as long as these idiots keep down sizing the Navy, we run less chance of ships being named after BO, Alcee Hastings, Sheila Jackson, Teddy Boy Kennedy, JohnF’nKerry, Bill or Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi etc etc etc
