A Florida Islamic group is accusing some Republican Party lawmakers and local party organizations of fostering anti-Muslim sentiment.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, sent letters to almost every Republican Club or party extension in the state, asking the groups to stop bringing speakers who espouse anti-Islamic views. The letter said it represented the interests of more than 150,000 registered Florida Muslim voters.
Hassan Shibly, executive director for CAIR, based in Tampa, said such speakers not only inflame anti-Islam tensions but have also led to discriminatory legislation: namely Senate Bill 386, which would ban foreign laws from being enacted in Florida; and House Bill 921, which allows school districts to select textbooks instead of adhering to the statewide curriculum.

That's a hate crime!
It’s the squeaky wheel that gets the ‘ink’ (grease)...CAIR is no different than Sandra Fluke or the NOW gang...raising silly scenarios and sillier politicians jumping in for both ink and possible votes plus all those who can’t wait to be offended and get their face on TeeVee............CAIR is replacing the NAACP in whining. If the Republicans are being held responsible for exposing how shallow CAIR is and what that organization is all about....GOOD ON THEM!
cair=islamism=hussein soebarkah.
Enemies of America, all
we forgot until 09/11/2001
Republicans dont have to foster ill will against Muslims, they do that very well without GOP help.
I think that anti-Muslim sentiment happened on 9/11 not counting earlier atrocities.

I’ll start taking Muslim complaints seriously when Christians are allowed to hold Bible classes in Mecca.
un-indicted co-conspirator ping!
Define anti Muslim. Does it mean knowing Islam is a system of hate and destruction that has attempted to destroy every culture in its path? Does it mean not trusting anyone who is under the control of Islam?
If only the Republican Party were that wise.
Dear Islamic followers of Mad Mo - Piss be upon his head - we don’t need the Republicans or anyone else to “foster anti-Muslim sentiment”, in Florida, or anywhere else for that matter.
You nut jobs do just fine on your own!
I wish.
CAIR is a terrorist front group.
It’s clear to me that CAIR is fostering resentment of Republicans with this “hate-speech” of theirs.
I just have to find that phone number for the Department of Justice so I can report this, I’m sure they’ll take swift action.
Bingo!
Anti-Muslim sentiment is being fostered by Muslims.
In a sane world everyone would hate islam and it would be banned.
Exactly their belief system is what makes people ready to fight back against them. Their beliefs are not compatible with the rest of the world.
TOUGH SH!T!
we have a winner!
