That vote should have taken all of 15 minutes after Lois Lerner, after once first agreeing to supply some information to the inquiry, then clammed up and refused to testify further, claiming the 5th Amendment then protected her.

But I suppose that now, these things must be done - “delicately”.

That's right - they finally woke up! The vote will still be all along party lines ... with enough “mavericks” in the House, the vote will be close!

All I know is that my congressman had damned well better vote that day and he damned well better vote for contempt. He has a challenger in the upcoming primary here on May 20th.

Why wait?

Because the EXEMPT Congress and their EXEMPT Staff
really do not care .... except about themselves.

Well, yes. That was a process that required both the House (indictment) and Senate (trial). It failed because our Senators have no honor or allegiance to the people any more.

If I understand the contempt process correctly, the House has the power of voting contempt, AND they have the power to jail that b!tch - at least for the rest of the current session. In my mind, if they do not do this, then it won’t matter how many more seats Republicans win, or whether they win the Senate, too. Just rats of another color, really.

Jeebus — why not wait until the first anniversary of her invoking the 5th amendment. Hell, why this decade even?

I can count the number of congress critters I respect on the fingers of one cartoon character’s hand. (Ever bother to count the fingers on most cartoon characters hands?)

———That vote should have.... -——

Timing is a part of the program. Events are being scheduled to cause maximum damage to Obama and achieve maximum election gains in November.

Recall that the Republicans do not control the propaganda organs and must also create a situation that can not be ignored. Most Americans don’t know who she is or the magnitude of her crimes.

When the death penalty or some such is mentioned for her crimes against the Republic, the S@#$ will hit the fan and blow across the country

Nothing can remove the stench of this Congress from their rolling of the American people. At least my sriracha sauce may have stunk to make it, but it has consistency and far better flavor than this Congress will ever have guts.

That is what I was wondering. Holder was voted to be in Contempt of Congress and nothing much seems to have happened. Does she go to jail if she remains in Contempt?

“Issa and 16 other Republican lawmakers are asking Attorney General Eric Holder to produce documents and to make Pilger available for an interview.”

I also do not understand this statement from the article. What does it mean when the Committee asks the Attorney General to make Pilger available for an interview? Can't the Committee subpoena him?
