Bulldoze Chicago into Lake Michigan and let's fix this place. There is nothing we downstate can do. Crook County alone can out vote us and then there is Springpatch. We have voted Republican since Ronaldus Maximus, but it doesn't matter.

Simple. Immigrant voters...who want their “free stuff”.

5 counties here in Illinois are the problem, just 5 counties out of 103. The rest of this state are relatively normal, surprisingly conservative even. But we have been so gerrymandered by Madigan and the Combine it’s going to be almost impossible to save the state I grrew up and raised a family in.

So we are planning to leave. 4-5 more years and we are gone.

Without Cook, Romney would have carried the state.

But Obama still would have won the state in 2008 (not to mention the 2004 Senate race) and Clinton would have won in ‘92 and ‘96, though both times in a near tie and only thanks to Perot.
