I was staying at the Eugene, Oregon Hilton for a week long conference when Jackson Browne and his band pulled in to play a 2 night show. I was already booked on the top floor and they took over the rest of the floor and the band were pretty nice folks.
On Friday morning they were all checking out and JB was sitting there on one of the couches signing autographs and I was sitting on another couch nearby and when the crowd died down I slid over and said “hey your Jackson Browne and he said yes. I then said can I ask you a question and he said yes again. So I looked him in the eyes and I said “so what did it feel like to beat the shit out of Darryl Hannah?”
