Sarah Palin would like all terrorists to know that if she were in charge, waterboarding is how the United States would baptize them.

At least that's what the former Alaskan governor and ex-vice presidential nominee told thousands of attendees this weekend at the National Rifle Association's annual convention in Indianapolis.

"If I were in charge," Palin said Saturday during a Stand And Fight rally at Lucas Oil Stadium, "[our enemies] would know that waterboarding is how we'd baptize terrorists."

Palin mocked what she called the Obama administration's coddling of suspected terrorists

I certainly don't disagree with the sentiment. Too bad she's not going to BE President. Kinda takes some of the sting outta the message.....

The liberals heads must have exploded when she said this.

I loved this line the best: She added: “By the way, a couple months ago there were 30 times as many Americans that registered for a gun license than registered for Obamacare. Those Democrats, trying to get all Pelosi on you, and you’re not going to have it.”

Classic! And worthy of being reported, frankly.

Intelligence is the most important asset to be had during a war. Successful combatants extracted information any way they could. The British throughout history were very efficient. The Israelis make no apologies. Islamic terrorists never apologize for the carnage they cause. Nor should the West apologize or restrain itself to stop them.

Too bad she's not going to BE President.

This subtle mantra of negativity has thoroughly infected some FReepers postings for the past several years. Not yours, of course.

I wouldn’t call it negativity. I’d call it reality. There is no indication at all that Mrs. Palin will be running for President.

Especially since so many of the female students on University campuses have been convinced wearing hajibs and marrying terrorists is “cool”. Idiots. The have no idea what the Muzzies true intentions are or the truly evil things they are capable of.

If our confidence is God, then we can take the lid off of our hopes. We may still not get what we want when we want it, but again we might.

The US people has got to care about God before its politicians will. IMHO.

As long as we tie our souls to earth, we will see replays of 2008 and 2012. Blah “conservative” candidates, and the Democrat with evil verve will do well.

And just picking a “really Christian” candidate won’t do if we don’t get ourselves in the God harness.

Well, I do. It’s irresponsible and unthinking to talk this way. And the sentiment — that torture should be seen as routine for Americans — is disgusting. I want to like this woman, but she makes it impossible.

I don’t think she’s being gratuitous here.

In fact most would rather be boarded with clean US water than go to some stink hole prison in their native countries which will likely treat them like the pestilence they are being.

You're just monkeying with me for fun; aren't you? If not, please see Post 6, this thread. You just did it again.

Two thumbs up.

We are Americans.

And yes, the baptism reference made me really ill.
