Sorry Democrats, Obamacare is still electoral kryptonite

**SNIP**

When vulnerable Senate Democrats start running ads in which they openly declare “I worked with President Obama on the Affordable Care Act. It’s something I’m proud of,” then you’ll know public opinion on Obamacare has turned a corner.

That is not happening. In Alaska, Sen. Mark Begich just released a new ad boasting how he fought “the Department of Interior, the EPA, NOAA, national Democrats and the White House” to allow oil drilling in the Arctic Ocean. Riding a snow machine across the frozen tundra, Begich stops, takes off his helmet and declares “I’m Mark Begich — I fought for five years to get the permits so we could drill under this ice. And we won. . . . Sooner or later, Washington will figure out that I don’t take no for an answer.”

In Louisiana, Sen. Mary Landrieu is similarly distancing herself from Obama. The embattled senator has a new ad up declaring that “the administration’s policies are simply wrong when it comes to oil and gas production to in this nation,” hitting Obama for his offshore drilling moratorium and “cheating” Lousiana out of oil royalties (“I will not rest until this injustice is fixed,” Landrieu thunders).

TOTALITARIANCARE. WWJR do? (SCOTUS-Socialist Court Of The United States)

At a tea at his house the year before, Perkins had sat beside Justice Harlan Stone, and he gave her a tip. She had confided her fears that any great social insurance system would be rejected by the court. Not so, he said, and whispered back the solution: “The taxing power of the federal government is sufficient for everything you want and need.” If the Social Security Act was formulated as a tax, and not a government insurance, it could get through. - p.229; The Chicken Versus the Eagle; The Forgotten Man - Amity Shlaes

FR POSTED BY FREEATLANTA: With just 191 days until Nov. 4 midterms, nervous Democrats are scrambling to find an effective answer to the Obamacare question they may fear the most:

"Where is the $2,500 in health insurance savings President Obama and Democrats promised me?"

How $4.3 billion to Louisianna Senator Landrieu was attached to the Obamacare bill, and how Obama and Reid failed to catch and fix it, is yet another indictment of the Obamacare atrocity. The payoff to Landrieu should be investigated as an indication of how EVERY Democrat came to vote for Obamacare.

===============================================

BACKSTORY In the fall of 2009, Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) was trying to get the necessary 60 Dimocrat votes to pass the Affordable Care Act. He needed every Dim on board, which gave waffling senators a great deal of leverage. In Landrieu's case, she connivingly saw that selling her aye vote could get her maybe $200 million federal dollars. Obama complied--- Reid chalked up another vote for Obamacare---and the $4.3 Landrieu giveaway was attached to the Obamacare bill.

<><> Where'd the money go?

THE "Louisisana Purchase" PAPER TRAIL IS HUGE Sen Landrieu (Scumocrat-LA) sold her aye vote in what Forbes Magazine dubbed "The 'Louisiana Purchase" that included a massive $4.3 Billion to Landrieu.

FORBES REPORTED the Democrats’ nailed Landrieu’s support for Obamacare w/ a greenback bribe. Landrieu, critics believe, pledged her vote in exchange for some $200 million more additional federal funds for Louisiana. Except that, due to a drafting error, the law ended up giving Louisiana $4.3 billion: more than twenty times the assigned amount. MORE HERE http://www.forbes.com/fdc/welcome_mjx.shtml

A local couple called 10News concerned after they received an envelope from the state's Obamacare website, Covered California. Inside was a letter discussing voter registration and a registration card pre-marked with an "x" in the box next to Democratic Party.

The old saying is, “Don't put all your eggs in one basket.” Every Republican, and independent running needs to point to four things that this administration, and the Democrats have done that are wrong. Every campaign speech across this country needs to have four points that this administration can be blamed for. Obamacare is just one of them. They don't all have to be the same four points from speech to speech, but let it be know that there are more problems out there. By 2016 every person in this country should be blaming the Democrats, and this administration for all of our problems.

Getting it "off the table" was the phrase they used to use.

Now they just declare the discussion over and arrest anyone who continues to debate as a protester, and then a terrorist.

You are correct. The Dems are doing what the GOP cannot dare to even suggest.
The Repubs will allow them the power so they can have it for themselves one day.
It's just plain traitorous.

Eight million people have not been “covered” by Obamacare. Even if we accept that figure, which most of us don’t, having “health insurance” and getting medical treatment are not the same thing. Also, reports show that many people within that fictional 8 million figure have never paid even one payment, therefore, they DO NOT even have health insurance. Furthermore, many millions of those so-called “enrollees” were placed in Medicare, a program that is already hurting for funds, has minimal doctors subscribing to it and is substandard, at best. Plus, you and I are paying for that, the enrollees pay nothing.
