Report: Wall Street Republicans Prefer Hillary over Ted Cruz, Rand Paul
Breitbart's Big Government ^ | April 28, 2014 | Tony Lee

Posted on 04/28/2014 5:34:24 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

The permanent political class and their donors think a Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton battle in 2016 would be a win-win scenario, and many Republican Wall Street donors would rather have Clinton in the White House than Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) or Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY).

According to a Politico report, "the darkest secret in the big money world of the Republican coastal elite is that the most palatable alternative to a nominee such as Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas or Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky would be Clinton."

“If it turns out to be Jeb versus Hillary we would love that and either outcome would be fine,” a Wall Street donor told the publication. “We could live with either one. Jeb versus Joe Biden would also be fine. It’s Rand Paul or Ted Cruz versus someone like Elizabeth Warren that would be everybody’s worst nightmare.”

Fearing "heavy blowback," no one would go on the record in an article that tries to set the establishment narrative that Jeb Bush should get support because Hillary would have an easier road to the White House if a conservative candidate won the nomination in 2016.

Other Wall Street Republicans have said there would not be any "panic" with Hillary Clinton...

the big money world of the Republican coastal elite

Big money and big business are subsidized by big government and don't want to see it dissolved - to h*ll with the American People or America for that matter.

Well, looks like we have a problem, then. I don't think I can break bread with folks who prefer that Beastie over damn near anyone, let alone Ted Cruz.

A lot of consultants are going to earn their retirements raising money from this crowd, and in the end the Great Boogie won't be elected President regardless.

I may be getting too old, but I was raised to believe one should oppose big government, big labor and big business.

May our streets run ankle deep in our own vomit. I never imagined we could arrive at such a juncture.

The 2016 primaries might turn out to be the only time I vote that year. If Bush (sequel 3), a re-Romney, NJ Rat-lite, or some other RINO is what come out from under the GOP rock, they can stick their candidate.

And here I've been getting all riled up because the democRATs are evil. Turns out the pigs at the helm of the repugnant party are just as bad.

I've voted in my last election. I hope the Rats establish a monarchy. At the least, a dynasty.

TRAITORS, which means that if WE DON’T END UP WITH A CONSERVTIVE, why should I support their nominee? It worked out so well with John McCain, Mitt Romney, the elder President Bush and Bob Dole?..

Some Republicans are rich, but there is no guarantee that they are smart. This article proves it.

Time to do a bitchslap on RICH RINO REPUBLICANS. Attack them as the Left does. Call them out as selfish, greedy Wall Street pigs (hattip to the Occupy Movement though they had no idea what they were saying).

Let’s show the American public that we stand for the American Public, not Wall Street fatcats from either party.

Time to clean house from stem to stern (or is it bow to stern). We can’t trust “suits” period. They are too invested in their own selfish welfare instead of trying to help save our country.

then again, aren’t registered Republicans about 28% of the voting population while close to 45% to 60% are conservatives and independents?,if Jeb decides to Run,we all know he will never get passed Paul and Cruz in any of the first primaries. Can u imagine Jeb winding up in 6th/7th place after the first primary? U think he will still stay in the race?
