City Councilwoman Beth Mason met with current and former White House officials last week to talk transportation and gun control and how these issues affect Hoboken.
Mason attended a fundraiser on Wednesday night for Americans for Responsible Solutions, a gun-control political action committee started by former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. Former President Bill Clinton was a guest speaker at the event.
In past years, the councilwoman has been vocal about her support for gun ownership reform. Last year, she helped collect signatures for the Daily News petition to ban assault weapons in New York. She also supported Hobokens symbolic resolution to support the news organizations petition.
Mason knows how to shoot a rifle she grew up in Richmond, Va. and has passed the skill on to her children. But she said that reform is crucial.
Automatic weapons, its a whole different story. Why do you need automatic weapons, especially in cities? she said. Having guns, its not necessarily about protection, and it raises issues.

Guns for me, but not for thee.
Silly woman doesn’t know the difference between automatic vs semi-auto, yet she is part of the idiots who make our laws.

If I wound up in Hoboken, the only person I’d shoot would be me.
LOL...Hey, The Ghost of Frank Sinatra would protect you
This Mason gal looks quite the trip:
Her campaign website boasts unsubstantiated claims that she has taken courses at New York Universitys Stern School of Business, The New Schools Milano School for Management and Urban Policy, and Harvard Universitys John F. Kennedy School of Government.[3] Mason is a convert to Judaism.[1]
She can’t even “substantiate” TAKING COURSES? Oh, that’s rich.
And speaking of “rich,” there’s this:
Councilwoman Mason lobbied State Senator Brian P. Stack for a State Assembly position on his 2013 ticket but was ultimately unsuccessful. The Mason family wealth made the Councilwoman a plausible down ticket contender.[5]
More LOL Wow, can’t even buy her way onto the ticket. A real doozy of a politician Hoboken has there.
Glad nobody posted any pictures of her.
