Economic Performance Rank 1.Texas 2.Utah 3.Wyoming 4.North Dakota 5.Montana 6.Washington 7.Nevada 8.Arizona 9.Oklahoma 10.Idaho
High worker's comp costs and no right to work laws really hurt places like AK and MT.

By and large liberal states do much worse than conservative states.

Marginally related but I see that Mike Rowe is testifying before the natural resources committee tomorrow at 10 AM.

Florida is #16. Both Texas and Florida have a huge influx of immigrants and are financially successfull. I am a child of immigrants and have seen many minorities successful in small business and also conservative.
That said, immigration should be a non-issue right now as we have a criminal in the White House and focus should be his offenses to our nation including creating a society where drug overdoses have become the leading cause of accidental deaths surpassing car accidents!
Focus should be on the unpredented amounts of deadly heroin getting into the, country killing American children.

Most of that heroin is coming from open borders in Mexico.

The rats here in MN point to the unemployment rate as the only thing that matters.
Nevermind the high taxes.

You know what they say don't you? Those who can do, and those who can't teach. I am sure that is why Granholm went to teach after getting Michigan to 50th place on the economic out look stats.

Plenty of (fracking) sand-loaded rail cars roll through town here on their way to the West.

Toyota US HQ (5,000 jobs) moving from Torrance, CA to Plano, TX.
Sirracha plant (200+ jobs) likely to do the same.
I can’t imagine why...

I know plenty are coming via Wisconsin from Barron County.
They even put back rail lines that had previously been torn out due to lack of maintenance & non-use.

Thank you Connecticut's Citizens... you are 44 and 45 this year... You need to try harder if you want to get to 50...../s
I hope CT's voters will wake up this year. I know my brother (who owns a store in CT) is getting tired of the BS (taxes, workers Comp, etc) the Marxists are doing.
