If Graham is again the nominee, the people of South Carolina may have to consider whether the democrat nominee is more conservative than Graham, and more representative of their interests than the vile oligarch, Graham.

The premise of this piece is not necessarily true. “Dewey Defeats Truman”

But as Graham began to speak, a driving rain pounded the warehouse roof, drowning out all other noise. God Votes!

What’s the matter with South Caroliners? Didn’t they just send that flake Mark Sanford to Capitol Hill to represent them in Congress?

My, my. All the action words implying brave derring-do on the part of Lindsey Graham. What’s next, feats of strength? Do these people not realize how ridiculous this sounds?

There's a good deal more to it than just that. Dig a little deeper into the S.C. red clay and you will see.

The sheeple have elected him over and over again since 1995. No reason to believe it will be any different this time around. A certain percentage of people would have to start thinking for themselves and that’s quite an unlikely scenario.

Charleston district, I believe. Wish I could have voted for him.

Basically a government entity endorses an incumbent (or any) person running for office. There is just so may things wrong there.

Send him back and SC can finally quit the little act where they act like they are so conservative.
They are no more so than Rhode Island.
To: Starboard
You just know it’s worse than they’re letting on when Lindsey trots out Strom Thurmond.

Well, he IS the ideal conservative Senator for 4 months out of every 6 years.
But about your statement regarding what to do if he wins the primary: It's the press and GOPe (Lindsey's many minions) who have declared him the assured winner. We still have a primary June 10th and a possible run-off three weeks later. Let's wait and see what happens first.
To: cotton1706
Not surprising the Chamber backed him. They support illegals and one-worldism.
I can’t believe the people of SC haven’t dropped this guy yet.

They’re Republican and many still confuse that with conservatism. The two were pretty closely associated at one point. That point has passed.

Do you REALLY think that's true? Or did you just get a speeding ticket here?

At least we keep the R which is needed to have any voice in the Senate and House. Keep in mind we cannot stop the communists Democrats unless we build the R base regardless because we do not like a RINO. We have no power to stop this dictatorship because we do not have the Senate. The speaker has control of the floor and bills from the House goes nowhere. If we can get a super majority in the Senate we can dethrone King Obama. Better chance than we have now.
