Yes. There were government functionaries multiple decades ago that promised much the same thing....to go after those who dissent with government’s work and actions.

They were called NAZIs, and they murdered over 6 million Jews and threw the world into a conflagration that killed much, much more.

The "eyes being the windows to the soul": vengeful malcontents at the helm. It is an all too common "look" among members of this regime. It is their demeanor, comportment, they very way they look at people that reveals if given the order tonight, they would immediately send us all to the gas chambers, and never give it a moment's thought. I've never seen it in any other administration that has come before.
