Poll: 2014 looks worse for Dems than 2010
FOX News ^ | 04/29/14 | Chris Stirewalt

It’s never been worse for President Obama in the Washington Post/ABC News poll, which finds him at a 41 percent job approval rating, about 13 points below his standing in the poll at this time in 2010, the year when his party got creamed in midterm elections. We’ve talked about the tsunami alert for Democrats this fall, but the sirens are getting too loud even for partisans and wishful thinkers on the left to ignore. There is no common measure so predictive of a party’s performance in congressional races than the job approval rating of a president of the same party. And Obama is looking increasingly like a toxic asset for Democrats desperate to cling to a Senate majority.

The Dems only hope is for the Reps to pass comprehensive immigration reform this year. The GOPe is hellbent on passing it this year so they can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Not to worry.

The MSM will lie, cheat, prevaricate, make things up, pretend, and generally cheat the dim-bulb-crats into victory.

Wanna bet?

What, me worry? Not a chance. Nobody can poll the dead, the mentally incompetent, the felons, those who are registered in more than one state. Polls mean nothing.

Propaganda to make republicans relax, become complacent and not to worry about getting to the voting booth. Same MO...different day.

If 2014 is better for America than 2010, that will be a very good thing. I’d like to see a conservative (not just republican) Congress that will repeal ObamaCare, “slash” spending to Bill Clinton’s already extravagant level, and then repeal every single vestige of Obama’s corrupt regime. It’s a dream, but it’s a beautiful dream.

The simple fact that Barack Hussein Obama has even a 41% approval rating is proof that America is forever DOOMED.

Actually, the fact that he was ever able to be elected at all proves it. The country we loved is gone.

Good! I hope every republican governor is reelected, maybe take a few more and we gain another 1000 legislative seats!

If 2014 is better for America than 2010, that will be a very good thing.

"Better" would mean actually TAKING the Senate, something we should have done in spades in 2010. I was expecting a super-majority takeover, after the demonstrated abomination of this administration.

But the fraud was too great.

Given the massive influx of Democratic voters resulting from amnesty this prediction is no longer valid. The Democrats will gain control of the House and increase their numbers in the Senate. There will never be another Republican President. We have been conquered by the Third World without the necessity of one shot being fired.

His real approval is more im the mid 30s. This was a D+11 poll - D32 R21 I38. The true party id split is more like D+5.

Yeah, the GOPe remind me of the aging criminal who goes out and commits another crime the day he’s released from jail, because he wants to go back in.
The GOPe is completely afraid to lead.

Any worse and the republicans will beg Americans to vote for the democrats to ensure their loss in 14. They have no intention of participating in the very racist idea of a silly election to challenge Obama.

My biggest concern for 2014 and beyond is election fraud. If it is all done on hacked voting machines that are tallied by compromised software we are doomed!

That is what I am thinking. [Vote fraud] It does not pay to get overconfident.

It was instructive that many electronic voting machines were defaulting to the “D” party at the confirmation stage in the last major election. That was no accident at all.

The Democrats are still enraged that they couldn’t pull off the theft of the 2000 election, and so think they have justification for doing “whatever it takes” to win going forward. And they do mean whatever it takes.
