Name one high-profile issue thats going well right now for Secretary of State John Kerry.
Russian troops are still sitting on the Ukrainian border, and Russian-backed militants havent backed off inside the country. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is still taking Kerrys calls, but not seeming to care much about whats being said.
Syrian President Bashar Assad announced Monday hes running for re-election, unopposed, eight months after firing nerve gas over President Barack Obamas red line.
Kerrys attempted peace process reboot between the Israelis and Palestinians has stalled out. And then, apartheid what the future could hold for Israel without a peace deal, he warned in a closed door meeting last week.
In a defiant apology of sorts that fired back at those who questioned his support for Israel, the nations top diplomat acknowledged the power of words to create misimpression, even when unintentional. Kerrys been confronted with this lesson throughout his career in public life, repeatedly getting caught in impolitic descriptions of what he would argue are just realistic assessments of where things stand. This is the politician, after all, who famously explained his procedural maneuver on Iraq War funding as, I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it a true, and in his mind defensible, position that proved poison to his 2004 campaign...

They are doing this for one reason. So they can’t say Hillary was the worst secstate since lady Madeline Notsobright.

And this is why you hire someone who has actually had a successful career in diplomacy. And why we should have hired a President who has actually had a successful career in governing. Nobody should be surprised that a neophyte failed at his job.
It seems that the most important positions in the United States of America are now solely occupied by career politicians instead, who only ever learned how to win elections and pick out the right people to get into bed with.
This Kerry outrage is getting traction because it targets Jews and it is particularly heinous. What happens to countries labeled as aparthied supporters? They get dismantled, and their country is handed over to mob rule.
Jane Fonda might be the only person Obama could put in State who would be worse than Kerry...
