Donald Sterling to Sue NBA for 1.7 Billion [satire]
buzz.io ^ | April 30, 2014

Sterling’s legal team said, “No one approves of what our client said on that recording. There’s no denying that. But it was recorded in the comfort of his own home and later obtained and publicized illegally. Not to mention, the mafia tactics the league is using to try to muscle Mr. Sterling out of his rightfully owned franchise are highly illegal and even unconstitutional. We have no doubt that our client will be exonerated when it is all said and done.”

I wish he would make them earn it.

I doubt there are many judges who will help him.

You raise a good point. Look at what happened to George Zimmerman.

It appears to be real.

NY Daily News -

"Donald Sterling set to fight NBA ban with lawsuit to block sale of Clippers"

"As the Daily News reported Wednesday, if Sterling sues, he would likely base his case on language in the NBA constitution that deals with conduct that constitutes “willful acts,” a term that can be difficult to interpret and enforce. Generally those acts include criminal behavior, financial instability or gambling or fixing games.

“He’ll sue and it’ll take years to settle,” said the source close to Sterling. Reverberations from Sterling’s racist words continued Wednesday."

Funny, the black witness also called Zimmerman a creepy-ass cracker right on the stand and immediately everyone working in the media thought this was not racist and was a perfectly legitimate comment.

My position throughout this whole thing is that his behavior was demonstrably private, and he was the victim of criminal activity. Therefore "he" didn't "act" in a way to embarass the league, even though he actually said those racist remarks. Now I see his lawyers zooming in on lack "willfulness" - bingo!

Yes, it's real. The category they posted the article is for genuine articles I've found 2 other sources stating Sterling will sue.

Right no ones is arguing to defend Sterling’s bad remarks. There are other issue at play. Extorting to separate someone from private ownership and a few other issues.
