Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling reiterated to Fox News Wednesday that the team "is not for sale," likely signaling a looming legal battle with the NBA should his fellow owners try to force a sale over Sterling's racist remarks.

The league is negotiating a new TV deal this summer. If Sterling wanted to , he could hold out till the contract talks and hold it over everyone’s head until one of the prospective owner groups pays him whatever he asks for.

Los Angeles saw this happen virtually exactly the same way when Frank McCourt sold the Dodgers for a lot more than they were worth to a group of investors Magic Johnson is a part of.

I figure he can get a billion for the team, no matter what they are valued at. Also, he is old, it is a good time to retire.

That would be no revenge at all because the NBA can charter a new team for Los Angeles and hire all the current Clipper players and coaches for the new team. Sterling can keep his team name, hire new players and play the Harlem Globetrotters outside of the NBA.

Sterling paid $12.5 million for the Clippers. The team is currently valued at about $600 million.

The Clippers were at 100.8% of capacity at Staples Center this year for 41 home games. The “.8” is standing room and luxury suite ticket sales.

Again, only because the Lakers stunk so much.

That’s strange. Supposedly V. was from Tucson. They showed a photo of where she and her mother lived.

The Mail is reporting that she was brought up in Section 8 housing in San Antonio but moved to Los Angeles while still in high school and ended up at the same school as Don and Rocky.

There was a news article I read this morning showing how in 2002, Sterling sued his girlfriend to give the gifts he gave her back.

She had an expensive home she put in her name and her mother’s and an expensive car or two.

He got both of them back in the case!!! I’m surprised.

Alexandra Castro. TSG published a deposition in that case back in 2004.

Apparently, they reached a settlement on the lawsuit, with Sterling forking over an additional $200k to defray her legal fees.

Look at this photo of V.

Whether that's the same girl as the high-school yearbook photo? I would say they look pretty similar. Perez is a common name, but the high-school kid is going by Vanessa, and V-Dot chose to keep the letter V in her new name.

She is known as a female version of him. IOW, she is known for making racist comments. BTW, they have been married 60 years.

And at least a dozen mistresses.

I think that its because the Clippers now have superstar players: Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, and De Andre Jordan and star players J.J. Reddick, Danny Granger and Jamal Crawford.

As soon as the Clippers acquired superstar players, Clipper attendance went through the roof. In the 2011-2012 season, for example, the Lakers and the Clippers both had great seasons and both had high attendance (Clippers were 7th in attendance and the Lakers were 8th). The Lakers finished one game ahead of the Clippers in the Pacific Division that year,

A metropolitan area the size of Los Angeles easily supports two franchises in the same sport: Dodgers-Angels and Kings-Ducks in hockey along with Lakers & Clippers.

The best revenge: tell the Clippers and NBA that he’s shutting down the team at the end of the season and everyone will be out of their jobs. All Clippers property will be disposed. And no, he won’t be selling the franchise to anyone. Have a nice day, NBA!

At which time the players all become free agents, the NBA will take the franchise back, sell it to someone else, and say "Thanks, Don."

Then, get all the Clippers at a game, invite Magic Johnson, wire the whole court, do an Allahu Akbar moment at halftime where Sterling pushes the detonator button to implode everything and everybody. The suicide note will say the libs drove him to depression and suicide (as a mass act).
