he O'Reilly Factor's "Talking Points Memo" once again addressed the release of a Benghazi memo which stated that the White House's goal was to blame the YouTube video for the Benghazi attack to divert attention away from Obama's policy failures.
"There's no question that the White House misrepresented the terror attack on September 11 in Benghazi, Libya," O'Reilly said, and pointed out that not one person had been brought to justice.
While Obama had blamed critics of his actions and inaction in Benghazi of creating a political agenda, O'Reilly pointed out that the memo instead proved that Obama had created the political agenda.
"They did this because the president was running for reelection on a platform that he had broken Al Qaeda and any evidence to the contrary might have hurt his campaign," he added.
"The president stood by while the United States of America misled the world about a terror attack. But even if Mr. Obama was not directly engaged in that deception, the moment he found out about it he should have corrected the record, but he did not, even when he had the chance with me to do so."
And the media, he charged, is complicit in the coverup.
"The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Los Angeles Times and Boston Globe made no mention of the memo. The Washington Post ran it on page 17. Only USA Today put the story on its front page," O'Reilly pointed out.
“That’s a scandal, a scandal,” O’Reilly said. “That is proof the American press is dishonest.”

He was CLEARLY TICKED OFF last night, that the media is providing such shelter to 0bama on this. I think BOR generally gives 0bama too much benefit of the doubt, which may help explain why he’s livid about this Benghhazi coverup deal.

As the most watched cable news show, he has a certain responsibility to be all over this, as well as the much more serious Fast & Furious.
Instead he painfully tries to stay in the middle, going so far as to provide defence by claiming Obama is not a socialist.
Atkinson has earned my respect by staying on top of these issues to the correct degree. BOR has not.

The Current Regime, caught in the crosshairs once again when their lies were exposed, will simply continue to lie, and NEVER own up to what they actually did or did not do.
This is so far beyond what Richard Nixon EVER did, it is no longer possible to draw parallels. Even the relatively innocuous antics of the Former Occupant of the Oval Office, 1993-2001, never rose to this height, as that was always “only about sex”, though it rose to the level of impeachment.
But Political Correctness continues to protect the perpetrators, and no amount of logic, reason, or undeniable and irrefutable tested evidence will serve to convert the hard-core True Believers.
Very interesting and telling that none of the survivors have been interviewed much less testified.

You are late to point this out, Billy O., very late.
If I had to guess, I would say Yes, there is no doubt in my mind.
If the Bush White House had done this the impeachment proceedings would be in high gear. Obama should be forced out of office if not impeached for this travesty, but the MSM is so in the tank that other than on Fox News scarce mention will be made of this smoking gun memo. I am betting the ABC News reporter who yesterday grilled Jay Carney about this memo is today being muzzled by network executives just like Sharyl Attkisson was at CBS.

Testifying in front of a House Oversight Committee hearing Thursday on Capitol Hill, retired Air Force Brigadier General Robert Lovell said the military should have and could have done more to help Americans who were killed in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. Lovell is the former deputy director for intelligence at Africa Command. His testimony today is the first testimony from a member of the military who was at Africa Command during the time of the Benghazi attack on the U.S consulate. [Bolding is mine]
“Many with firsthand knowledge have recounted the heroism displayed by the brave Americans in Benghazi that night. They fought the way they trained. That is in the record. Outside of Libya there were discussions that churned on about what we should do. These elements also fought the way they were trained. Specifically, the predisposition to interagency influence had the military structure—in the spirit of expeditionary government support—waiting for a request for assistance from the State Department. There are accounts of time, space and capability discussions of the question, could we have gotten there in time to make a difference. Well, the discussion is not in the “could or could not” in relation to time, space and capability—the point is we should have tried. As another saying goes: “Always move to the sound of the guns,” Lovell said. “It is with a sense of duty as a retired General officer that I respectfully submit these thoughts and perspectives.”
Lovell also confirmed again that the 9/11 Benghazi attack was not a result of a demonstration but instead was a well planned out assault and said the situation of holding back help made the military feel “desperate.”
“The military should have made a response of some sort,” he said.
Further, Lovell said people on the ground that night knew it was an attack from al Qaeda almost immediately.

O'Reilly's not 'in the middle' on this one... he's taken a stand against the liars in the press and the liars in the White House. That's not the easiest thing to do when you're living in DC and have to get people to appear on your show. Give credit where credit is due... O'Reilly nailed this one.
