There is no such thing as international “law”. Law requires a lawgiver. In the case of the United States, the lawgiver is the People of the United States, and ALL (defined above) legislative powers are either delegated to a Congress or retained by the People.
Meanwhile, innocent people die by the thousands elsewhere (for any number or reasons) and the UN is silent.
