I’m glad to see Gowdy involved. I don’t think he’s an attack dog for the sake of being an attack dog, but geeez, let’s get this thing going already.

I do wonder, however, if Benghazi is being “annointed” as the scandal of choice, because at the end of it, what are the results going to be?

Hillary Clinton isn’t going to suffer a smidgen of punishment and it won’t IMO change her election prospects one way or another. Those who would vote for her would vote for her under any conditions.

0bama, what’s the worst case? That he’ll be embarassed a tad? Pfffft. Let me know when the shame wears off.

No, a few generals or colonels will get cooked and forced to resign. 0bama will eventually actually try to take credit for cleansing the military of incompetents. Yeah, talk to me about that “shame” thing again.

To me, the IRS scandal is 3 orders of magnitude worse, but the implications of finding out the top-to-bottom depth of the corruption there are absolutely ominous.

Benghazi = mere incompetence. Please don’t tell me they are going to get into the underlying Syrian gun-running to any consequence. That’s normal meddling for “freedom fighters”....remember, Al Queda is now our friend.

The IRS thing: This is a crime committed against literally every American. Or at least half of them. It is sheer treason against the oath of office and a conspiracy to hijack an arm of the government for use against the citizens. I consider the IRS thing 2-3 orders of magnitude more serious a POTUS offense than Bengghazi.

But I prolly have to take what I can get in terms of scandals.
