Tina Brown to Hillary: Forget the White House, Enjoy Being a Grandma
Newsmax ^ | 5-2-14 | By Drew MacKenzie

Former Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown has urged Hillary Clinton not to enter the race for the White House in 2016 — and instead enjoy her life as a soon-to-be grandmother and an ex-president's wife.

Brown wrote in an opinion piece for The Daily Beast that the former Secretary of State should just have fun with the perks of the "post-presidency" and reject the chance to endure "the vile toxicity of the campaign experience and the grueling gridlock of the Oval Office itself."

Brown, who co-founded the Daily Beast, noted that former presidents, such as George W. Bush, Jimmy Carter, and Clinton's husband, Bill, are enjoying their time out of office far more than when they were in Washington, D.C.

Your mention of the missing $6billion just answered the question I had about how so many were paid off to not speak - ever - about that night on Sept 11, 2012.

How’s that for subtlety? The a lot of the big names have had enough of the Clintons in Leadership roles, too much baggage.

Don't waste your time, Tina.

Telling Hillary to stop striving for the Oval Office is like trying to get the moths to leave your porch light alone.

Might as well write a story telling the spring Salmon to stop swimming upstream, or commanding the wolves to turn vegetarian.

It's just not in their nature to even consider it. Stop wasting ink.

WHY, WHY, WHY do Americans accept foreigners such as Tina Brown grabbing big fat media jobs, lording it over us, and telling us what we’re doing wrong IN OUR OWN COUNTRY?

“Iraq mistake...” You insufferable teabag. Let’s talk about your policy bona fides, Tina Brown, and your first big media job. You weren’t good enough to write your way in, so you did the next best thing — you married your much older boss. After you stole him away from his wife. Brava.

We finally got rid of another fake British intellectual (you can tell he’s smart because Accent), Piers Morgan. It’s time you took it back across the pond, too. Enough.

Does the British public tolerate Americans holding down fat anchor jobs or editorships of magazines? Any Americans at the BBC? Don’t think so. Why are we such saps?

Nobody in America outside of Big Media has any idea who you are. Or cares. GET. OUT.

Yeah, the Tea Bags are the most annoying people on the planet. I’m reading an old book, Toby Young’s “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People,” a British guide to bad behavior among the glitterati in NYC. Hilarious! He skewers the Brits like Tina and Anna as well as that fat head Canadian Graydon Carter.

Also, what happens to the unspent campaign cash; wouldn’t she keep it?

Ever try taking a piece of meat out of a hungry dog's mouth?

Just try taking that money from the beast.

“Also, what happens to the unspent campaign cash; wouldn’t she keep it?”

She’s collecting bribes in the guise of speaking fees and possibly book deals. They prefer that as Congress passed a law that funds collected for campaigns can only be used for campaigns. This is why Anthony Weiner ran for Mayor of New York. He had several million dollars. He probably bought a campaign BMW and got kickbacks from campaign suppliers. (Also, he likes seeing himself in the news.) Hillary could also donate her campaign cash to other Democrats thus garnering “favors.”
