No state income tax. Utilities are pretty reasonable, at least where I live. As I'm sure you know, it gets hot here and winters can be colder than some realize, yet my power bill averages about $120 mo. Water, sewer and trash are part of my rent. The property taxes are because of some sort of sharing arrangement between each and every school district or some such. I've never seen an old, dilapidated run-down school here.

No State taxes either right? No personal income tax, but the business income tax is disguised as a "franchise tax."
