The Temple is building a mold of the sculpture so they can pop these things out like evil, terribly expensive action figures whenever they need a new one.

I’ll bet someone’s also thinking ahead and they’re going to surround that thing with security cameras, high-intensity lighting, possibly even motion sensors. Someone trying to “enhance” that statue in the dead of night will probably have the cops on them inside 60 seconds.
