Clarence Holmes, aka Noble Yahudah Ben Ysrael, was arrested on New Year’s Eve for driving with a revoked license.
Yahudah claims he was improperly held in jail because he is a citizen of the United States of Yisrael. His group contends their descent from slavery grants them status as a sovereign state.

1) Is he registered to vote?
2) Does he refuse to take government benefits?
3) Does he pay taxes in any form?

Nut cases used to be put in hospital for treatment. Now they’re running all over the place, obviously receiving no mental health care at all. Worse, many of them have gone into politics.

He's got a point. In the entire history of slavery in the USA, no slave was ever issued a drivers license. No slave was ever allowed to drive an automobile. Furthermore, no slave was ever even allowed to ride in an automobile. /sophistry

I may want to join the U.S. of Yisreal if Yehuda can get me exempted from income taxes. I’ve worked so long to pay taxes to support deadbeats that I feel that I also suffer from a legacy of slavery.
