UPDATE: This is looking more and more significant as the evidence comes in. Here is the Presidents official schedule for September 11, 2012. (H/t carlitos and reader M.R.) Obama appears to have been gone from the White House for much of the early part of the day.
He observed a moment of silence on the South Lawn; visited the Pentagon Memorial; visited veterans at Walter Reed in Bethesda; returned to the White House; and met with Leon Panetta at 5 p.m.
There are not too many holes in his schedule during the day increasing the chances that the debate prep took place in the evening, after the meeting with Panetta . . . in other words, when the Benghazi attack was unfolding.

According to you everything...
Obama has methodically removed most of the military leaders who are opposed to him .. leaving people in charge of military units who will do whatever Obama wants. ... But .. my guess is he didnt sign it .. knowing his new military people would not go against him.
Aren't you paying attention?
Excuse me .. it’s obvious by my sentence that I didn’t mean a “new recruit” was in charge.
The “new” applies to the person who would have been promoted to replace the “leader” Obama dismissed.
Now .. who’s not paying attention.
You’re an idiot. We were both talking about who was in charge during the Benghazi attack.
Atkinson also thinks there are pictures of Obama in the situation room because they wanted to show him arranging the rescue and were not aware the ambassador was dead until later. She has requested them now Gowdy need to do the same.
Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer: My sources tell me Obama was in the room watching Benghazi attack video 10-27-2012Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer said tonight that his sources tell him that Obama was one of the people in the room watching the Benghazi attack go down and both he and Col. David Hunt agree it would have taken an order by the president to intervene. Further, Col. Hunt said that we were only 20 min away by jet and a couple of hours away by AC-130 gunships and special forces, and the decision not to intervene had to be political.
LT. COL. RALPH PETERS: FOR THE ‘FIRST TIME OUR HISTORY WE HAVE A PRESIDENT WHO IS AN OUTRIGHT COWARD’
Unless I’m missing something, the guy to whom you linked seems to be a family law attorney. The link shows the people in his practice posed for a photo. While they are close to D.C., it would be odd that a practicing family law attorney would be one of the key people at that meeting to try to polish “brand Obama” for the next day’s campaign fundraiser in Las Vegas.
“Obama the Coward” has a nice ring to it. That needs to stick with him, throughout American history, for putting politics/ideology over American lives.

Well .. thank you for your expert opinion of everything.
I thought all the KNOW-IT-ALLS were finally gone from FR.
Another idiotic response that bears no relation to the context.
I think I linked to this guy:

Ok, I’ve scanned the posts and here’s the source of confusion: I responded to Freeper Saved By Grace, who’d linked to the wrong Ginsberg in #24. You read my post and thought I was writing to you. When you wrote to me, I assumed the person to whom I had responded was the person now writing back. All’s well with the world; you had the right guy.
We should ask Candy Crowley to verify this alibi, because she was instrumental in his debate preps.
In the early stories it said Obama was on the phone with Netanyahu for an hour. This excuse did not gain any traction, so they appeared to completely abandoned it.
Phone records would verify or dispute that theory.

I bet the dialogue went something like this: hey! Bibi, I know I have been ducking your calls for a few months, but since I was awaken by a report that there are American under attack at some embassy somewhere, this is a great time for us to catch up on things like Mid-East.
Netanyah: Mr. President, I think you need to get off the phone and meet with your defense and State department personnel.
Obama: No, that can wait, but I can’t talk long, because I need to get up early for my morning prayer and then catch AF1 to Vegas.
Or is the conversation another video? An excuse?
Of course the phone call is an excuse, but highly unbelievable, it is why it wasn’t mentioned again. It is like me telling someone I was on the phone, which is why I couldn’t show up the hospital where my wife and kids were taken via helicopter following a serious accident.
He may have been on the phone briefly to see what Israeli intelligence had gathered. But his larger picture is out of focus
