Despite the unemployment rate plummeting, more than 92 million Americans remain out of the labor force.
The unemployment rate dropped to 6.3 percent in April from 6.7 percent in March, the lowest it has been since September 2008 when it was 6.1 percent. The US population is about 320,000,000 if all of them were employable and 93,000,000 million were out of work, how would that equal 6%, looks more like 35%.
I happen to know a Puerto Rican couple, only two languages, no Phd's (as far as I know) but two CPA's (with honors, LOL!), who did rather well in the burger flippin' business in Dallas, to the tune of low 8-digits at least.
Less than 59 percent of working age adults are employed.
