White House spokesman Jay Carney on Thursday continued to blame Republicans for trying to “politicize” Benghazi, repeating the claim that the newly declassified e-mail sent by Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes on Sept. 14, 2012 had nothing to do with the attacks on the U.S. consulate.

I watched this. Carney Barker said the reporter should ask Issa about political motivation. The correct response would have been for the reporter to say, "I'm not talking to Darrell Issa, I'm talking to YOU, because YOU are the one who brought up political motivation. Do you believe it? Yes or no?"
