John Bolton: Benghazi Panel Needs to Question Hillary Clinton for 'Hours and Hours'
Newsmax ^ | 04 May 2014 | By Todd Beamon

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton needs to provide "hours and hours" of private depositions if any House select committee is effective in uncovering what happened in the 2012 Benghazi deaths that killed four Americans, former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton said on Saturday.

"The public hearings that get so much attention are the last things that should happen," Bolton, who served in the George W. Bush White House, told Jeanine Pirro on her Fox News program. "We need former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton giving hours and hours of depositions before they put her back out in public testimony. That's the way to find out what happened.

"You can't get effective investigations done with members of Congress alternating — asking questions for five minutes — of somebody who's articulate and knows how to dodge questions," Bolton added. "What needs to happen are extensive, hour-after-hour depositions."

After a few hours, give her a break to the lounge. A few glasses of her favorite wine, then get her back on on the stand. See how the answers compare.

The attitude of this entire administration has been that they are not answerable to Congressional oversight.

I’d expect her to double down on their rejection of Constitutional checks and balances.

Let Ziva and Gibbs put her in the interrogation room while Ducky analyzes her. She'd last at the very best, 10 minutes before being arrested.

Easier just to break her the way the Vichy cops broke Eddie in “To Have and Have Not”

Bring the puke bags, defibrillator, and oxygen. What an unpleasant afternoon that would be.

The attitude of this entire administration has been that they are not answerable to Congressional oversight.

That's a true statement.

They act as if Articles 2 and 6 are the only things in the Constitution. And Article 6 only when it suits them.

Even good liars can be tripped up after giving a few hundred pages of depositions. It is damned hard to keep everything straight, and there is always that stray fact, that the liar didn’t know about. Once introduced, the liar has to start changing their story to fit the fact.

The question remains: Where are the Benghazi survivors?

...In March 2013, Chaffetz said he managed to speak with one of the fathers of the survivors but was told:

“Yes, this person is at the Bethesda Naval Hospital, but you will not be able to find him because the State Department changed his name on all his records."

Bolton is right on. This jackass Clinton will let the truth slip out if they really grill her. The communists Democratic part of the committee will provide cover but if the Republicans do not hit with hard questions and remarks we are finished.

She won’t get ‘softball’ questions from Trey Gowdy and she knows it ..... time for another bump on the head to avoid what will be a proper interrogation.
