Americans should take note: Upcoming elections in two English-speaking countries, the United Kingdom and India, are likely to tell a common story; in both nations, conservative nationalism is likely to defeat liberal multiculturalism. That’s good news for conservatives, and an inspiration for Americans, as they look to their own November 2014 elections. And yet, as we shall see, it’s not obvious that the Republican Party will draw the same positive lessons.
Yes, the voters in the UK, India, and the US are putting their elite masters on notice: The slumbering giant of right-tilting nationalist populism has been roused.
Yet given the entrenched power of the elite, including the ability to issue rules and regulations from unaccountable bureaucracies, it’s far from clear that ballot-box victories will translate into the desired change—that is, the victory of conservative nationalism over leftist multiculturalism.
In other words, the forces of “post-nationalism”—those who believe that familiar nation-states are to be transcended, and a new national and international order is to be welcomed—are so entrenched that it’s not so clear that mere elections will change the post-nationalist status quo.
Still, the right has to begin somewhere, and next steps are what we are about to see in the UK and India.
We can begin with the UK, where elections to the European Parliament, located in Strasbourg, France, take place on May 22. As a member-state of the European Union (EU), the Brits have the right to send 78 representatives to the 751-member European Parliament, to deliberate on EU issues. That’s what Britain gets in return for being a member of the 28-nation European Union, spanning from Ireland in the west to Bulgaria in the east, boasting a total population of some 505 million....

Everybody you talk to has had enough of the current leftist government.
The Torys are bottom of the poles, UkIP at the top with over 30%.

Liberalism (er, now “progressive-ism”) is not “sustainable”, a concept that liberals love to scold the rest of us about.
The average person is waking up to the fact that liberalism is evil and will work to destroy liberty and prosperity. It has found common cause with Islam to impose immigration laws that permit immigration of peoples who are hostile to the indigenous culture and who in fact view immigration as a form of slow-motion conquest.
Many European nations have gone to war in order to preserve their self-identities. Now they are all committing cultural suicide. The only answer will be to suppress the Muslims already in their borders. An aggressive religion can only be repelled by another aggressive religion. Europeans will once again turn to the Roman Church to resist Islam’s encroachment into their societies. This will not end well. It is the beginning of sorrows.
India already is a multi-national federation -- it's not one nation but a group of at least 28 different nation states in the Federation of India
Next, Indian bureaucracy was highly effective and it was not about micro-management until the time of Indira Gandhi in the late 60s and 70s
India is a multi-cultural sub-continent, not a country like England

Also, he doesn't seem to understand that what we call Hinduism is just the same as pan-European paganism -- it's multiple religions. Hinduism is a meta-religion, not a religion

More accurately, Hinduism is like Judaism, a mix of ethnicity, culture, and religion. In a sense could be like pan-European paganism because of their shared Indo-European roots, but pan-European paganism is too small to be significant force in Europe. Hinduism is too pervasive in India to the point that Indian Christians and Muslims are pretty much culturally hinduized. I agree that things are a bit complicated to be defined in nice little packages, but they can still be defined more or less accurately.
There are multiple ethnicities in India that are Hindu --> Tamils, Bengalis and Punjabis are all Hindu but different ethnicities -- and in the case of Tamils a different race
Also Hinduism does not have a central code or book. You can be an atheist like Jains and still be a Hindu. You can acknowledge Shiva as the main god but still be a Hindu like a Vaishnavite
Hinduism is a broad river, while Judaism is a narrow, strictly boundaried stream
I was comparing pan-European paganism before Christianity to current day pan-Indian continent hinduism
In India Christians are mostly Hindu culturally and increasingly so, which is good, but most Moslems are not -- since the 80s and 90s there are more burqas and more Saudi sponsored madrassas which make Indian Moslems want to be Arabs.
