Ended up selling and moving, especially since the guys staying in the house would stare at my wife and young daughter.

In Texas, I can legally open carry my handguns on any piece of property that I own or control (i.e. lease, rent, etc.).

That’s what I’m thinking. If something like that happened in my neighborhood... Well, I know several people up and down my street (myself included) that would make life very, very difficult for an illegal’s home. You don’t need police nor HOAs. They’d get the hint right quick.

In MI you can CC anywhere on your property, and OC everywhere else, no permit required.

I agree. I would never move. I’m too obstinate and have a nasty streak a mile wide. The best defense is a good offense.
