Fox News is claiming to have CONFIRMED that a seven-page email exchange occurred among top officials in the weeks just after the Benghazi attack. The email exchange was to come up with a media strategy regarding a Fox News report from September 27, 2012, that concluded the Obama administration knew within 24 hours that the Benghazi attack was indeed a terrorist attack.
Those on the email exchange were Obamas former Deputy National Security adviser Denis McDonough, current CIA chief John Brennan, and presidential adviser Ben Rhodes.
The email exchange, characterized as stunning, is being withheld by the State Department citing Executive Branch Deliberations.

Wait... When I was in (81-85) LCPL was one strip with rifles. CORP was 2 stripes with rifles. Has this changed?

Ok...sorry.....I be wrong....
Did say ‘believe’ USMC...etc... but that is no excuse.<: <:
In my ‘trust but verify’ mode, I did notice that for the most part the Son of a Marine wouldn’t be able to wear his Dad’s insignia to school....
That is shameful.....
Of course, If I had done this ‘first’ we wouldn’t be having this conversation....<: <:
Who’s “concentrating” on spin. This is just to debunk their “right wing conspiracy of politicization” tripe. Obama also claims they acted on the intel available to them, then release the daily national security briefings he received. And by all means get to the meat and potatoes of what the hell was Chris Stevens doing IN Benghazi (and not Tripoli where the US embassy is) on September 11th of all days? And what was the purpose of the mission. These are questions the relatives are asking as well.

Denis McDonough took over as White House chief of staff on Jan. 25, and what has followed has been a pretty terrible year. The presidents top legislative priority, fixing immigration laws, has stalled out. His plan to stop Syrias descent into chaos was a pure debacle. And the implementation of his most important domestic policy accomplishment, the health care overhaul, is a mess. Obama is less popular than ever.
McDonough then served as a senior foreign policy advisor to Senator Tom Daschle. After Daschle's re-election defeat in 2004, McDonough became legislative director for newly elected Senator Ken Salazar. McDonough later served as a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress in 2004.

At the end of last Wednesdays 7:45 a.m. senior staff meeting in the chief of staffs roomy West Wing office, a dozen scandal-fatigued loyalists surveyed the trifecta of embarrassments that threatened to derail the presidents second-term agenda. The ongoing controversy over Benghazi, the IRS admission that it had improperly targeted Tea Party groups, and the Justice Departments subpoena of Associated Press phone records were all driving the media narrative and forcing the administration onto the defensive. Political strategist Dan Pfeiffer got a laugh as he called out mordantly, One team, one fight ...
McDonough got a bigger laugh with his feisty response: One team, a shitload of fights!
And by all accounts, McDonoughjust four months into the jobhas acquitted himself well during the past few weeks. It was McDonough, say White House aides, who on May 15 advocated declassifying and publicly releasing previously confidential interagency emails about the controversial Benghazi talking points. Those emails helped turn the conventional wisdom on Benghazi from White House cover-up to Republican overreachwith news reports suggesting that a GOP source had misrepresented a key communication from Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes to make the White House and the State Department look far worse than was justified. Meanwhile, after Obamas initially passive response to the IRS scandal, McDonough was central in the decision to fire the acting commissioner and send the president in front of television cameras to express his anger at the tax collection agencys alleged misdeeds.
McDonough is fiercely protective of Obama, and quick to reprimand anyone he feels has undermined his boss. He once savagely dressed down the late Richard Holbrooke, the special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan and three decades McDonoughs senior, for cooperating with a splashy New Yorker profile. I would definitely not want to undercut the president in some way and then have a sit-down with Denis McDonough, says a senior White House staffer.
Indeed, some Democrats dismiss the McDonough charm offensive as little more than window dressing. Its not a helluva lot better now, complains a Democratic senator who asked not to be identified for fear of White House retribution. Denis McDonough is very good at returning phone callsI dont know when he finds the time to sleepbut Im not certain that anything is happening other than that. In terms of things actually getting done in the White House, its still not any better than it was before. Its still the feeling of a lot of us here that the White House doesnt consult with us. Instead, it tells us what theyve done. You know, there are instances where they might have talked to us beforehand, and maybe we would have had some input into that, and it would come out better if we just had some upfront idea about this or that before it happened.

The ONE place Obama shouldn’t be is the WHITE HOUSE!
The insiders have been threatened, just like in the mob.
In fact, the government IS the new mob, only with power and capabilities the mob bosses could only dream about.
