TwinCities.com has switched its commenting system from Facebook to Disqus. You've probably seen this system - pronounced "discuss" - on dozens or hundreds of other sites. You might even already be one of Disqus's 1 billion users. There are many benefits in making the switch, including: It does not require Facebook. You can log in with your Facebook account if you like, but you can also log in with Twitter, Google, or just an email address and password. You can vote comments up or down; report offensive comments; and choose how to view comments -- only the best ones or chronological order. The same comments will soon appear on the app versions of our stories as on the regular website, bringing continuity to the discussion. We will be able to moderate the hundreds of comments posted on TwinCities.com every day, which Facebook made very hard to do

Glad they dumped Facebook.
No wonder they allowed all my conservative posts unlike the paper across the river. This explains everything. And here I was bragging them up saying how they allowed both sides of the argument to say its piece yada yada, and now I see it was only because of their inability to control their own technology. That’ll learn me.
I guess the fair and balanced site is dead, then.
