No law?

Congress and the States have made thousands of laws infringing on our Second Amendment rights...

The left wing, anti-USA crowd will try everything they can to shut down dissent against their filth.

And when that was written and approved, “respecting” basically meant “having anything to do with in any way, shape, or form, either for or against”.

When the Republicans control the Senate and the House and eventually have a Republican president, I wonder how Dem's will feel about an FEC run to control what the MSM progressives can say?

Unfortunately the Repubs are not only the stupid, clueless party, they are also the party of perpetual losers & cowards, and would sooner crap in their pants versus playing hardball with the dems. And even if there are some conservative Repubs looking to payback the dems with their own playbook, there are always at least 10-12 Senate Repubs (led by chief backstabber Juan McCain) who will vote with the dems to kill any actions against the dems.

Washington state a few years ago The complaint claimed that on-air discussions by two radio talk show hosts urging listeners to support the initiative constituted “in-kind” contributions by the radio station

"The complaint claimed that on-air discussions by two radio talk show hosts urging listeners to support the initiative constituted 'in-kind' contributions by the radio station to the No New Gas Tax Committee that should have been disclosed . . . [The court agreed with the prosecutors] the Institute for Justice Washington Chapter (IJ-WA) defended the No New Gas Tax campaign against the [decision] . . . The Washington Supreme Court agreed to hear the case. On April 26, 2007, it unanimously reversed the trial court, holding that talk radio commentary is not an 'in-kind' contribution."

It is unfortunate the founders didn't write "Congress shall make no law or regulation..."
