Republicans have had a problem with young voters over the past few elections. Mitt Romney lost 18- to 29-year-olds by 26 percentage points in 2012 (after adjusting the exit polls to match the actual result). Romney lost among all voters by just 4 points. In 2010 a great year for the GOP House Republicans lost 18- to 29-year-olds by 14 points. They won among all voters by 7 points.
Thats why Democrats are hoping to get more young people who are less likely to vote in midterm elections to vote in midterm elections. Yet, early polling suggests that even if Democrats are successful in 2014, the payoff would be less than it would have been in either of the past two election cycles.
We know this by looking the national generic House ballot, as good an indicator as there is of the national political mood. Most generic ballot surveys only have somewhere between 100 and 300 respondents between 18 and 29 years old, which makes for a large margin of sampling error. But by taking an average across a number of surveys, we can get a good idea of how young voters are feeling.

Perhaps so, but I bet the GOP-e waging war on conservatives will lessen the turnout more in 2014 than it was in 2012. IMHO the Senate stays in the firm grip of Odumbo and the House returns to Piglosi. Just saying........certainly not wishing.
Meaning 84% Democrat instead of 97%.
Good news, but are they registered to vote?

I think it will be that the Democrats keep the Senate and the House stays Republican (maybe lose a house seat or two at worst). January 2015 to January 2017 will be a repeat of January 2013-January 2015. Nothing getting done which at one time we liked....I can’t read the FREEPER tea leaves lately though.
The Republicans should frame the question like this...
To all you 18-26 year olds, do you want to live the rest of your life in your parents basement because that is what the Democrats are promising?
To the Parents, Do you want your kids to spend the rest of YOUR life living in your basement? If So vote Democrat, because they brought us to this point.
