Who do you think set up these clinics 20 years ago.
I go to Costa Rica for my dental work. He has a plaque on his wall showing him to be a member in good standing in the Miami Chamber of Commerce.

A couple from Mexico have been renting from me for 10 years, and have been in the US for 15. They have decided to return to Mexico becase thay can live better there on less.

Dentists are a necessary evil, as my own dentist has stated. At the risk of sounding like a liberal (eek) I think it is wrong to make a killing off of other people’s basic needs. Charge what you need to live well, but no need for all the greed. This doesn’t apply to all dentists, but many. I had to find a new one when I moved and upon calling around, one of the closest to me right away stated the doctor requires payment up front, regardless if I have insurance.
No argument, but have you heard the language of some of the commoner middle school and high school girls (not ladies by any means) in the last few years (Obama time, roughly)? Worse than the boys, no question. I'm talking white, suburban, middle and upper-middle classes. OTOH, we hear practically zero bad language from girls involved in their churches.
I know exactly what you are saying, and these girls are definitely not ladies. Believe me, I have experienced the filthy mouths of the girls directly, as I am a retired high school teacher.
Much to the annoyance of some here, I suppose, I have taken it upon myself to launch a one-woman campaign against foul language in polite company. So I frequently post the comment that you saw, but most of the people to whom I post my admonition have been refreshingly positive in their answers.
I am a boomer who grew up with the notion of ladylike and gentlemanly behavior. It was drummed into us girls that we should mind how we dressed and how we spoke lest someone think that we were tramps. And I firmly believe that the language that we use has a definite impact on the way we treat one another.
Some just think of me as a prig, I suppose, but I don’t care. As a grandmother, I see it as my duty to try to influence the culture.
