House Approves Select Committee to Investigate Benghazi Attack

The House on Thursday voted 232-186 to create a select committee to investigate the 2012 attack that killed four Americans at a diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya.

The move to create the panel was supported by only 7 Democrats, setting the stage for what will likely be a contentious investigation this summer. Democrats are debating whether to boycott the panel altogether.

Republicans said creating a special panel was necessary to determine whether the administration painted a false narrative about the Benghazi attack to protect President Obama’s foreign policy record as he ran for a second term.

The Democrats are crying that they didn't investigate President Reagan when the Kobal Towers were bombed. I say that is their problem. They should have if they felt that way. They had the House and Senate at the time.

Based upon the Obamacare precedence 7 Democrats should equal overwhelming bipartisan support. Guessing none of those seven will be on the select committee.

Why is the Zer0 administration arming Al Queda and their affiliates and why were we in Bengazi? Were we (Zer0) trying to gather up arms from Ansar al Sharia to send to Syria? Did Ansar al Sharia resist and send weapons to AQ organizations throughout North Africa? These arms seem to be showing up in Nigeria with Boko Haram. The crime in this is not just that there was no response to the attack in Bengazi, but who Zer0 was arming and who they harmed.

Khobar towers were bombed in 1996—under Clinton’s watch! My son was there, so I remember that.

Glad you son was ok. I forgot what the liberals were crying about with President Reagan. Point is they could have done something and didn’t even with both the House and Senate. They feel that because they let President Reagan off the hook, we should show the same fairness to President Obama.

If there’s nothing to hide, why would they care?

Cause there IS something.

What?

Khobar Towers was 1992. Clinton refused to move the barrier back. A truck bomb blew out the front of the building.

They begged for protection.

It was a Ben G deal.

Clintons
